Clinical Observation Of Nerve Block Combined With Interference Electrotherapy In The Treatment Of Postherpetic Neuralgia

Object: The paper mainly observe and discuss the effectiveness and safety of nerve block combined with interference electrotherapy in the treatment of postherpetic intercostal neuralgia(PHN).Method: Sixty patients with PHN in our pain clinic were randomly divided into A(control group)and B(treatment group),30 cases in each group.We treated group A on the basis of orally administered drugs Pregabalin for the corresponding intercostal nerve block;group B on the basis of the same drugs for the corresponding intercostal nerve block combined with interference electrotherapy.The visual analogue scale(VAS)score and sleep quality score(QS),and the incidence of adverse reactions of patients were observed and recorded before treatment,one week and eight weeks following the treatment.The short-term and long-term curative effect of two groups of patients can be compared by two scores.Result: There was no statistical difference in the general data such as gender,age,course of the disease,VAS score and QS score before treatment(P>0.05),had comparability.One week and eight weeks after treatment,the two groups of VAS score and QS score were significantly decreased compared with the previous treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),group B decreased more significantly(P<0.05).Forward(8weeks)synthesis comparative effectiveness can be concluded that the total effective rate of two groups of patients were 100%,the efficiency of group A was 70%(21/30),and the efficiency of group B was93%(28/30).The efficiency of group A was obviously lower than that of group B,thedifference was statistically significant(?2=1.92,P<0.05).Recorded in the two groups of patients with adverse reactions,there are 3 cases of group A,and 2 cases of group B with intercostal nerve block after symptoms of dizziness,rest after a few minutes to relieve,no infection,difficulty breathing,hemopneumothorax.Two groups of patients without adverse reactions such as skin irritation reaction and skin burn in interference electric treatment.Conclusion: Nerve block combined with interference electrotherapy can more effectively relieve or remove the pain of PHN patients,the effect is more lasting,and can better improve the patient's mental state,the quality of live have greatly improved.It is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
