Objective: To observe the occurrence of neurotoxicity induced by oxaliplatin in colorectal cancer, and to analyze the related risk factors of neurotoxicity, and to provide reference for the prevention of neurotoxicity. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 109 patients with colorectal cancer treated with oxaliplatin was performed.Record the data of incidence rate of neurotoxicity in patients, the body indicators,chemotherapy-related indicators, blood—biochemistry indicators. The high risk factors for neurotoxicity were screened out by statistical methods. Results: Of the 109 patients,84 patients had neurotoxicity after receiving oxaliplatin treatment. The overall incidence was 77.1%.The results showed that the tumor staging, body surface area, the number of chemotherapy cycles, the cumulative dose of oxaliplatin, the change of platelet after chemotherapy, the change of calcium after chemotherapy and other six indicators were statistically significant, leading to neurotoxicity(P<0.05).Conclusion: Oxaliplatin treatment of colorectal cancer during the high incidence of neurotoxicity. For patients with high risk factors should be given attention, close observation of patients with neurotoxicity,if necessary,to give active prevention and treatment measures.
