Objective:Using MRI as a means of assessment, compared with high lumbar disc herniation patients and normal lumbar spine multi-split muscle imaging measurement indicators, including the split muscle area, thickness and fat infiltration degree. To investigate the correlation between high lumbar disc herniation and multi-split muscle changes.Method: Using retrospective research methods,A total of 66 patients with high lumbar disc herniation who underwent surgical treatment of spinal cord disease in our hospital from June 2012 to December 2016 were selected as the case group, including 41 males and 25 females aged 21-64 years.A total of 66 healthy subjects were selected as the control group, including 41 males and 25 females, aged 24-62 years. The T2 / 3,L3 / 4 segment intervertebral disc plane was used as the measurement plane. The total cross-sectional area of the lumbar spine and functional cross-sectional area of the lumbar spine was measured by PACS system measurement tool.Area, and the thickness of the multi-split muscle, and the degree of fat infiltration of the bilateral multi-split muscle was evaluated. To organize and record the original data in Excel, the application software SPSS 17.0 for statistical analysis.Data measurement data are carried out normality test, are in line with the normal distribution, the use of variance analysis for comparison,Using the mean ± standard(`X±SD)deviation,Count data using chi-square analysis,Use case number(n)and percentage(%)to describe,The odds ratios(OR)and 95% confidence intervals(CI)were calculated using multivariate logistic regression.P <0.05 that the difference was statistically significant.Result: Chi-square analysis and variance test results show that, compared with the normal control group, high lumbar disc herniation patients with older,BMI is too large, the total cross-sectional area of the multi-split muscle is smaller, the functional cross-sectional area of the multi-split muscle is relatively smaller, the average of the multi-split muscle thickness is smaller and the degree of fat infiltration is higher,(P <0.05),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Multivariate log regression analysis showed that the increase in age,the reduction of the total cross-sectional area of the multi-split muscle, the reduction of the functional cross-sectional area of the multi-split muscle,,the reduction of the average of the multi-split muscle thickness, and the high degree of fat infiltration were both high lumbar disc herniation Risk factors, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion: There is a certain correlation betten high lumbar disc herniation and multi-split muscle changes. In patients with high lumbar disc herniation, the multi-split muscle area marked atrophy, mainly manifested as the area of the multi-split muscle decreased, the thickness of multi-split muscle decreased, and the degree of fat infiltration increased.
