Objective: By analyzing the cross sectional area of paravertebral muscles of the normal people and the patients with lumbar diseases, the changes of the paravertebral muscle area of the patients with lumbar diseases and the accurate measurement of the percentage of the paravertebral muscle fat provide a new objective evaluation basis for the clinical judgment of the lumbar disease. Methods: A total of 150 patients with non-specific low back pain from January 2015 to June 2015 were collected from Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University.150 patients with lumbar disc herniation and 150 healthy persons in the outpatient clinic were collected. The age distribution was 18-70 years old.The MRI of the lumbar spine was taken, and the three planes of the endplate, intervertebral disc and lower endplate from L3 to L5 were obtained,a total of 9 planes.Using Image J software to carry out the right and right ridges, the right and left psoas muscle, the area of left and right multiple muscle and fat infiltration area measurement,at the same time to patients with the degree of low back pain VAS and ODI score. The fatty rate of the normal group was compared and the relationship between the adipose rate and age was analyzed. The fatty rate of the lumbar disc herniation group was compared with the normal group;the fatty rate was compared between the low back pain group and the normal group;the relationship between the VAS score, the ODI score and the fatty rate in the lumbago group was analyzed.Result: 1.Compared with the female group, the rate of adipose tissue of the paraspinal muscle in the normal male group was significantly higher than that in the male group, and there was statistical difference.2.There was a positive linear correlation between the rate of adipose tissue of paravertebral muscles and age in normal subjects.3.The waist fat intervertebral disc prominent sickness patient compares with the normal person, the paraspinal muscle fat rate increases obviously, and has the statistical difference.4.Compared with the normal people, the rate of fatty degeneration of paraspinal muscles was significantly increased in the lumbago group.5.There was a correlation between VAS score and ODI score in the lumbago group and the fat rate. Conclusion: 1.the rate of adipose tissue of paravertebral muscles in normal women was large;2.with the increase of age,the rate of fatty degeneration of paraspinal muscles increased.3.patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation have greater adipose rate than normal people, and the rate of adipose to low back pain is greater than that of normal people, and the higher the VAS and ODI scores, the more serious the adipose rate is. |
