Retrospective Analysis Of The Distribution Characteristics Of Syndrome And Prescriptions-drugs Regulation Of Newly Diagnosed Lung Cancer

Objective:1.To understand the disease name,etiology,pathogenesis and syndrome differentiation of lung cancer through reading the relevant literature,and to provide the theoretical basis for the understanding of TCM of Lung Cancer through summarizing the present situation of TCM treatment of Lung Cancer.2.To provide certain clinical basis and research ideas for the further study of TCM in the treatment of pneumonia through the retrospective analysis of the epidemiological data,distribution of TCM syndromes and prescriptions of newly diagnosed hospitalized patients with Lung Cancer in the first affiliated hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Method:Design a clinical medical record form of Lung Cancer.The form contains the basic information of patients,symptom and herbs,and so on.By collecting the clinical data of all inpatients with newly diagnosed lung Cancer in the recent 10 years(2006.1-2015.12),and using EXCEL table,the database was established.In order to explore the characteristics of distribution of TCM syndromes and the rule of herbs of newly diagnosed Lung Cancer,statistical analysis was carried out by means of cluster analysis and principal component analysis,and the conclusions were drawn.Result1.TCM syndromes A total of 83 syndromes were collected from 212 cases of Lung Cancer and clustered into 5 categories after systematic clustering.5 kinds of symptoms were analyzed by principal component analysis,the first class of TCM syndrome can be obtained 3 principal components;second types can be obtained 3 principal components;third types can be obtained 4 principal components;fourth types can be obtained 4 principal components;fifth types can be obtained 2principal components.Finally,5 TCM syndromes were obtained,namely,phlegm heat in the lung,phlegm wet in the lung,syndrome of qi and dampness stagnation,qi insufficiency of the lung and spleen,blood stasis in the lung.2.Syndrome elements In 212 cases of Lung Cancer,21 kinds of syndrome elements were collected.The highest frequency of occurrence was lung,phlegm,Qi deficiency,blood stasis and heat.3.Prescription and Chinese herbal medicine The study involved 27 ancient prescriptions,the most common ancient prescriptions of the paitients with newly diagnosed Lung Cancer are Er Chen Decoction,Decoction for Invigorating Yang,Shenlingbaizhu Powder and Mahuang Decoction.In this study,there were 235 kinds of herbal medicine.The medication frequency was up to 1885 times,with more frequency of 28 kinds of Chinese herbal medicine are:Licorice(83),Poria cocos(65),Tangerine peel(54),Pinellia ternate(52),Bitter almond(41),Radix Scutellariae /Platycodon /Atractylodes(39),Astragalus(38),Zhejiang Fritillary(37),Radix Adenophorae(36),Millet sprout(34),Coix seed(33),Lilium(32),Oldenlandia / Agrimony / Aster(30),Barbed skullcap/ Bitter orange/ Malt(29),Trichosanthes(27),Chinese yam(24),Peach kernel/ Lanceolate/ Radix Pseudostellariae /Angelica(21),Ophiopogon japonicus(20)Radix rehmannia(19).Conclusion1.The results showed that the common types of newly diagnosed Lung Cancer were phlegm heat in the lung,phlegm wet in the lung,syndrome of qi and dampness stagnation,qi insufficiency of the lung and spleen,blood stasis in the lung.But this can not fully explain the TCM syndrome differentiation of Lung Cancer,and the further study is needed.2.The disease location of Lung Cancer is mainly the lung,often involving the spleen,stomach,kidney,intestine,etc,both phlegm,Qi,blood stasis,heat and other pathological factors.This reflects the diversity and complexity of TCM Syndromes of Lung Cancer.3.Lung Cancer is a systemic disease,with phlegm,blood stasis and asthenia as the basic pathological factors.In this study,the most common prescriptions were expectorant,tonic,blood regulating agent and therapeutic agent.The most widely used types of Chinese herbal medicines are tonic medicine,antitussive and antiasthmatic medicine and antipyretic.The frequently used drugs in tonics are Glycyrrhiza,Atractylodes,Astragalus,Radix Adenophorae,Lilium,Pinellia Ternate,Bitter Almond,Scutellaria,Hedyotis Diffusa,Barbed Skullcap.This reflects the principle of the treatment of Lung Cancer: supplementing qi and nourishing yin,removing Phlegm Dampness and Heat-clearing and Detoxifying.
