Objectives:The aim is to sum up the compatible rules of treating emotional syndrome patterns of Bian Zheng Lu by data mining.It will provide theoretical guidance for the clinical treatment of TCM and new thinking of scientific rese-arch methods for the research of TCM.Methods:In order to build the database,The research will classify the medical records of emotional syndrome patterns in "Bian Zheng Lu"based on the number of volume,kind of disease,prescription,medicine,etc.According to the original medical records,we will complete the frequency analysis,the connection analysis,the cluster analysis and acquire the situation on medicine using.Results:This research have 184 kinds of medicine,refer to 449 kinds of prescription.The top 5 of appearrance frequency of medicine are Ren Shen,Gan Cao,Bai Shao,Bai Zhu,Dang Gui.Drug combination in common use are Zhi Zi-Bai Shao,Chai Hu-Dang Gui-Bai Shao,etc.The classification of medicines has Bai Zhu-Suan Zao Ren-Ren Shen,etc.The top 3 of appearrance frequency of medicine in the syndrome of heart-brain are Ren Shen,Gan Cao,Bai Zhu.Drug combination in common use are Chai Hu-Bai Shao,Ban Xia-Bai Zhu-Ren Shen,etc.The classification of medicines has Ren Shen-Suan Zao Ren-Shu Di-Mai Dong,etc.The top 3 of appearrance frequency of medicine in the syndrome of liver-gallbladder are Bai Shao,Fu Ling,Bai Zhu.Drug combination in common use are Bai Zhu-Fu Ling,Bai Zhu-Bai Shao-Fu Ling,etc.The classification of medicines has Fu Ling-Bai Zhu-Ren Shen,etc.The top 3 of appearrance frequency of medicine in the syndrome of qi-blood-clear fluid-turbid fluid are Gan Cao,Fu Ling,Ren Shen.Drug combination in common use are Chai Hu-Gan Cao,Bai Zhu-Gan Cao-Fu Ling,etc.The classification of medicines has Gan Cao-Fu Ling-Bai Zhu,etc.The top 3 of appearrance frequency of medicine in the syndrome of lung are Gan Cao,Bai Shao,Ren Shen.Drug combination in common use are Chai Hu-Gan Cao,Dang Gui-Gan Cao-Bai Shao,etc.The classification of medicines has Gan Cao-Mai Dong,etc.Conclusion:Frequently used medicines of Bian Zheng Lu mostly are Ren Shen,Bai Zhu,Dang Gui which can invigorate spleen and replenish qi and blood.As a result,Chen Shi Duo consider the emotional syndrome patterns basically caused by deficiency of spleen qi and deficiency of both qi and blood.meanwhile,medicine for benefiting both qi and blood were used in conjunction with qi regulated medicine,phlegm-expelling medicine,tranquillizing medicine,yin-supplementing medicine.The results of classification show that medicine for benefiting qi and invigorating spleen were frequently used in conjunction with blood-supplementing medicine,qi regulated medicine were frequently used in conjunction with liver-supplementing formula.
