Objectives:The standardized training of residents is a necessary way for medical students to grow into qualified clinicians,a permanent cure for improving the quality and level of medical service, and it is conducive to cultivating homogeneous excellent clinical talents and promoting the sustainable development of medical and health undertakings. In this study,we investigated the satisfaction status quo of residents' who participated in the standardized training, explored the existing problems and influencing factors, and put forward feasible optimization strategies and suggestions from multiple perspectives,to provide a reference for establishing and improving the existing standardized training system. Methods:In this study,we selected residents who are in training from three hospitals in Nanjing as survey objects, and the questionnaire was designed by using self-designed "satisfaction questionnaire of residents in standardized training".The questionnaire was divided into two parts:the basic situation and the satisfaction degree of the survey objects.Among them, the satisfaction situation includes six dimensions,a total of 33 entries, they all using Likert rating scale and carried out 5-level scoring method. The questionnaires used a convenient sample survey method, investigated a total of 390 residents, and 380 valid questionnaires were collected. The survey data were recorded using Microsoft Excel 2003,and analyzed the revelent data using SPSS 20.0,including general descriptive analysis(mean, standard deviation, composition ratio, etc)and statistical inference(reliability and validity analysis of the questionnaire, single factor variance analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation analysis),test level ? = 0.05,and the difference was statistically significant when P<0.05.Results:(1)The reliability analysis of the satisfaction questionnaire:the Cronbach's alpha value is 0.975,which showed that the questionnaire has high reliability.Validity analysis:the KMO value is 0.966,which showed that the sample size is adequate, and the construct validity of the questionnaire is good.Correlation analysis of the satisfaction of each item and the overall satisfaction:the value of correlation coefficient r is in the range of 0,506-0.722,both were more than 0.5,and the P values were all less than 0.01,which indicates that the correlation between the satisfaction of each item and the overall satisfaction is good.(2)The average score of resident satisfaction in each item is 3.13-4.08,between the "general" and "satisfaction" of the satisfaction level. The overall satisfaction score is 3.88±0.743,belonging to the general satisfaction, located in the medium level of satisfaction. The average score of each dimension score is between 3.26-3.99,from high to low follows:training effect, training condition, working environment, standardized management, career development and economic factors.(3)Demographic characteristics have an effect on the scores of residents'satisfaction of each dimension, and there is no statistically significant difference between the scores of gender and professional training, others were all statistically significant.(4)There were statistical differences between the resident's overall satisfaction with their four different demographic characteristics including education, identity attribution, time to participate in the training, whether to obtain a certificate of eligibility(P<0.05).Among them, the identity attribution of residents is an important demographic factor affecting the overall satisfaction, which could explain 4.7%of the overall satisfaction score variation. Conclusions:In this study,we conducted a questionnaire survey on the satisfaction of residents, and found that:(1)the overall satisfaction of the resident was general;(2)the satisfaction of training condition and training effect was higher among residents;(3)the residents' satisfaction with the economic factors was the lowest;(4)there is a group difference in the satisfaction of the residents;(5)the identity attribution is the most influential factor in demographic characteristics. In this regard, this study proposed the following optimization strategies and recommendations:(1)establishing a material incentive mechanism to improve the remuneration of residents;(2)strengthening the construction of working environment of the training base, and build suitable spiritual incentive mechanism for residents;(3)optimizing the integration of resources,to strengthen the construction of hardware and software of the training base;(4)strengthen the dynamic management to ensure the institutionalization of training;(5)strengthen the cultivation of medical humanities education and scientific research ability of the residents;(6)the training base play a synergistic role to help the residents to plan their career reasonably;(7)the government departments should strengthen the top-level policy design, and establish and improve the relevant laws and regulations.
