Research On Knowledge Management System Of Suzhou New Century Children’s Hospital

Suzhou New Century Children’s Hospital is the largest children hospital in full section with the international medical standard in Suzhou as cooperated between the NEW Century International Healthcare System and the Children’s Hospital of Soochow University.In the medial& healthcare system,the public hospitals have the absolute advantage in medical talent resource,investment funding or even business size.Therefore,as a private hospital,How can Suzhou New Century Children’s Hospital show their characteristics,establish their good reputation,thereby enhancing their own competitiveness? Based on the theoretical guidance of knowledge management,the author analyzes the problems and root causes regarding knowledge management,points out the coming disadvantages of such defects,and carry out a series of studies in the hospital on objectives setting,knowledge management system establishment,the equipment of knowledge management specialist and the implementation &assurance of knowledge management improvement program and so on.Firstly,the author is mainly to introduce the background and the value of research on knowledge management in Suzhou New Century Children’s Hospital.The research on the knowledge management system of Suzhou New Century Children’s Hospital can not only solve the problems of Suzhou New Century Children’s Hospital itself,improve its overall knowledge management ability,but also contribute to the "PPP" hospitals & New Century medical group.The author mainly uses the literature research method,the investigation method and the observation method,and lists some theoretical research and references which have important value for this research.Secondly,the author elaborates the problems regarding knowledge management in the hospital which are caused by the deficiency of the internal process documentation,the weakness of the organizational structure,the shortage of themedical talents,the backwardness of the information system,the confusion of the market direction,the lack of trust in the hospital and so on.Based on the investigation and analysis on knowledge management of Suzhou New Century Children’s Hospital,the author designs the improvement plan of knowledge management system in Suzhou New Century Children’s Hospital.The plan included the objective setting,knowledge management system establishment,the equipment of knowledge management specialist etc.In this chapter,the author also pointed out that the goal of enterprise management is to people-oriented,learn to adapt,strengthen enterprise values and corporate culture construction,build trust relationship and encourage knowledge innovation.Finally,the author introduces the implementation and protection mechanism of knowledge management in Suzhou New Century Children’s Hospital,and puts forward that the improvement of knowledge management improvement plan of Suzhou New Century Children’s Hospital can be evaluated by the combination of overall assessment and systematic assessment.The author presents how to implement the plan by six steps.At the same time,for the long-term effective operation purpose,the author designs important guarantee mechanism for the improvement of knowledge management from the aspects of hospital,human resources,information technology and culture.
