Kaixie Xuanbi Method Treating Chest Tightness Variability Asthma (Phlegm Obstruction Qi Bi Syndrome)Clinical Research

Objective:Basing on the literature study on chesttightnessvariantasthma,we tend to explore the clinical curative effect by using clinical observationto study the Kaixie Xuanbi method on treating chest tightness variability asthma,in order to summarize the supervisor's experience,clarify the treating rule and effect of Kaixie Xuanbi method for the treatment of CTVA,and provide a clinical basis for this experimental treating method.Methods:In this study,the patients in the Department of Respiratory Medicine in Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,were randomly divided into two groups:the treating group(TCM)and the control group with 20 cases respectively.The treating group uses Kaixie Xuanbi prescription with a 4 weeks' treating period while the control group using 4 weeks'budesonide/formoterol powder and montelukast sodium)treatment.The symptom scores,FENO test values and PEF detection values were compared between the two groups before and after treatment,and the safety of the treatment was observed.Results:This prescription can effectively improve the acute onset of CTVA Tanqi blocked Syndrome in patients with chest tightness,cough,astluna and other symptoms.In the treatment group and the control group,the difference between of before and after treatment and the improvement rate of syndromes were all p>0.05,which showed that the two groups had similar curative effect.In the treatment group,the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the patients with acute exacerbation of CTVA of the syndrome score,P>0.05,showing no difference.In the improvement of exhaled nitric oxide,the treatment group and the control group were improved than before treatment,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Throughout the course of the experiment,no serious adverse reactions,indicating that the Kaixie Xuanbi treatment is reliable on safety.Conclusion:It is worthwhile to study and promote the clinical efficacy in the treatment of CTVA,which is superior to western medicine in improving the main clinical symptoms of patients.
