Bushen Huoxue Lishi Category TCM Compound In The Treatment Of Chronic Prostatitis:A Systematic Re-view

Objectives:To systematically review the efficacy of the Bushen huoxue lishi category TCM compound in the treatment of chronic prostatitis,and provide evidence-based reference for clinical treatment.Methods:1.The clinical literature published at home and abroad of Bushen huoxue lishi Chinese herbal compound in the treatment of chronic prostatitis clinical research literature as the research object.Inclusion criteria include all of the evaluating the effect of Bushen huoxue lishi category TCM in treatment of chronic prostatitis of Clinical Randomized controlled trials(RCT).Treatment group with Bushen huoxue lishi category TCM compound or Bushen huoxue lishi category TCM compound combined western medicine as the intervention measures,compared with western medicine,outcome indicators including effective rate and total scores of chronic prostatitis symptoms and lecithin count and prostatic fluid white blood cell.2.Retrieval strategies and data analysis:Retrieved from VIP Database,Wanfang Database,CJFD and CBM,randomized controlled trials(RCT)about Bushen huoxue lishi category TCM com-pound preparation(test group)versus conventional Western medicine(control group)in the treatment of chronic prostatitis were collected.According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria Select the literature included in the study,Retrieval time is from 1995 to 2015.Meta-analysis was performed by Rev Man 5.3 software after data extraction and quality evaluation.Results:1.According to search strategy and Inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria Totally 22 RCTs were enrolled,due to Methodological quality was generally lower in the literature,Only two high quality documents,The majority of trials were of high risk of publication bias.2.All of The 22 articles compared the effectiveness of the Bushen huoxue lishi category TCM compound with Western Medicine.Results of Meta-analysis showed the total effective rate OR=4.46,95%CI(3.40,5.84),P<0.001,the effectiveness of the Bushen huoxue lishi category TCM compared with Pule'an Tablet OR=5.75,95%CI[3.44,9.63],the effectiveness of the Bushen huoxue lishi category TCM combined Antibiotics and alpha blockers compared with Antibiotics and alpha blockers,OR=3.18,95%CI[1.96,5.17],the effectiveness of the Bushen huoxue lishi category TCM compared with Antibiotics OR=4.60,95%CI[2.65,7.98],the effectiveness of the Bushen huoxue lishi category TCM compared with Cernilton,OR=4.28,95%CI[1.30,14.17],the total scores of chronic prostatitis symptoms of the Bushen huoxue lishi category TCM compared with Western Medicine,WMD=?3.62,95%CI[-5.21,-2.04],the prostatic fluid white blood cell count of the Bushen huoxue lishi category TCM compared with Western Medicine,WMD=-1.68,95%CI[-3.26,-0.10],the lecithin count of the Bushen huoxue lishi category TCM compared with Western Medicine,WMD=7.58,95%CI[2.15,13.01]?Conclusions:Bushen huoxue lishi category TCM compound has good efficacy in the treatment of chronic prostatitis.the curative effect of Bushen Huoxue Lishi category TCM in the treatment of chronic prostatitis is better than that of Pule'an Tablet and antibiotics combined with alpha blockers and antibiotics and Cernilton.And Bushen Huoxue lishi category TCM Have significant effect in the improvement of NIH-CPSI symptoms,reduced white blood cell count in prostatic fluid and increase lecithin body in prostatic fluid.Bushen huoxue lishi category TCM compound is worth popularizing in treatment of chronic prostatitis...
