Objectivee:The antimicrobial activity and cytotoxicity of the active ingredients of cilantro and coriander seed were studied and the stability of the volatile oil was studied.Methods:Active tracking method is adopted,through a variety of separation techology(positive phase silica gel column chromatography,reverse silica gel column chromatography,and the preparation of hydroxypropyl glucan gel type phase high performance liquid chromatograph),respectively the n-hexane extracts of coriander and coriander seed separation of 50%ethanol extract,and by using nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum structure analCsis and identification of the isolated compounds.The MIC value of the compound was determined by continuous dilution,and the MBC value was determined The influence of pH,light and temperature on the stability and antimicrobial activity ofCoriander,Cinnamon,Officinal Magnolia Bark and the compounds essential oilwas analyzed by controlling variable method.Results:Three compounds were isolated from hexane extracts in fresh Coriadrum Sativum L.,respectively are:coriandrin(1),hexadecanol(2),dipalmitin(3),from the ethyl acetate extract of coriander seeds nine compounds were isolated,respectively is:daucosterol(4),oleanolic acid(5),linoleic acid(6),?-sitosterol(7),vanillin(8),buddlenol D(9),ursolic acid(10),farrerol(11),9-E,11-E-methyl octadecadienoate(12).The compounds(coriandrin,oleanolic acid,linoleic acid,ursolic acid,farrerol and 9-E,11-E-methyl octadecadienoate)for drug-resistant bacteria,gram-positive bacteria and some gram-negative bacteria has good antibacterial activity,determined by MTT experiment results show that the coriandrin,oleanolic acid,linoleic acid,farrerol and 9-E,11-E-methyl octadecadienoate within 100 ?mol/mL had no cytotoxicity,ursolic acid has no cytotoxicity within 10 ?mol/mL.Stability test results showed that the light and temperature difference will not affect the Coriander,Cinnamon,Officinal Magnolia Bark and the compounds essential oil and its stability and antimicrobial activity,under the condition of pH change,Coriander,Cinnamon,and Officinal Magnolia Barkunder alkaline conditions was to antibacterial activity,acid condition lose part of the antimicrobial activity,compound essential oil loss of part of the antimicrobial activity in alkaline condition.The preparation of cilantro oil for compound preparation can increase its stability and retain antimicrobial activity in acid and alkaline conditions.
