The Clinical Effect Observation Of Differently Tractive Time In The Treatment Of Congenital Muscular Torticollis

Objective:The aim was to observe the clinical effect of the children with congenital muscular torticollis(CMT)treated with different traction time,which preliminarily explored the effect of different traction time on the clinical curative effect of CMT,and to provide a simple,feasible and effective treatment to improve the clinical curative effect of massage in the treatment of CMT.Methods:According to the diagnostic criteria,inclusive criteria and exclusive criteria,a total of 60 patients with CMT were selected from children rehabilitation department and massage department of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Rehabilitation Hospital between August 2015-October 2016,were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group.The patients of the two group were treated with kneading,plucking,pinching and passive tracting.The treatment group was given "tracting 30 seconds each time,for 10 times",while the control group was given "tracting 10 seconds each time,for 10 times".Two groups were once a day,5 times a week,20 times for a course of treatment,took 3 courses.At the pre-therapy and post-treatment,two groups of children implemented Color Doppler Ultrasonography inspection and efficacy evaluation scale of pediatric torticollis scoring.Afterwards,SPSS21.0 statistical analysis software was used to analyze the data collected.The clinical curative effect of the two groups were compared according to the results.Results:After the intervention,28 cases had completed the trial in the treatment group,and 29 cases had completed in the control group.Statistical analysis results were as follows:1.Clinical effect:In the treatment group,7 cases were cured,8 cases were markedly effective,9 cases were effective,4 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 85.7%.While in the control group,2 cases were cured,4 cases were markedly effective,13 cases were effective,10 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 65.5%.The curative effect of the two groups were statistically significant difference(P<0.01),which showed that the curative effect of the treatment group was better than the control group.2.After treatment,the two groups were compared in the group at the pre-therapy and post-treatment about Color Doppler Ultrasonography check indicator,and there were significant differences(P<0.01).It's showed that two groups have a significant effect in improving lump size.After treatment,the two groups were compared in the group at the pre-therapy and post-treatment about the efficacy evaluation scale of pediatric torticollis score.There were significant differences(P<0.01)in torticollis degree,sternocleidomastoid changes,lump hardness,cervical vertebra rotation situation,cervical vertebra lateral bending situation and total score,while was statistical difference(P<0.05)in lump size.It's showed that two groups have a significant effect in improving symptoms and signs of children with CMT,especially in torticollis degree,sternocleidomastoid changes,lump hardness,cervical vertebra rotation situation,cervical vertebra lateral bending situation.3.After treatment,the two groups were compared between two groups about Color Doppler Ultrasonography check indicator,and there was no statistical difference(P>0.05).It's showed that there was no difference between two groups in improving lump size.After treatment,the two groups were compared between two groups about the efficacy evaluation scale of pediatric torticollis score.There were statistical differences(P<0.05)in torticollis degree,sternocleidomastoid changes,lump hardness,cervical vertebra rotation situation,cervical vertebra lateral bending situation and total score.But there was no statistical difference(P>0.05)in lump size.It's showed that treatment group was more effective in improving the symptoms and signs of children with CMT,especially in torticollis degree,sternocleidomastoid changes,lump hardness,cervical vertebra rotation situation and cervical vertebra lateral bending situation,while there was no difference between two groups in improving lump size.Conclusion:Different traction time have an impact on the clinical efficacy of CMT."Tracting 30 seconds each time,for 10 times" can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and signs,which can effectively improve the clinical curative effect of massage in the treatment of CMT.
