The Study Of The Relationship Among Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndromes,Levels Of Sex Hormones And Endometrial Thickness In Hypomenorrhea

Objective: The investigation was about to find out whether there are relationships among levels of sex hormones,endometrial thickness and the distribution of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes of hypomenorrhea.Methods: By a survey in the first affiliated hospital of Anhui University of TCM,we collected 471 samples who seek medical advice from the researcher's direct from February,2015 to October,2016.The diagnostic criteria of hypomenorrhea refer to Gynecology of Traditional Chinese Medicine and The diagnosis and Therapeutic Regimen of 105 Diseases in 24 Specialities.Combined with clinical and draw up this study through literature of TCM syndrome type standard,which is divided into four type certificates(kidney deficiency,blood stasis,blood deficiency,phlegm wet,blood deficiency,syndrome of kidney deficiency and blood stasis,deficiency of liver and kidney,syndrome of both qi and blood deficiency,syndrome of both kidney deficiency and liver-depression,kidney deficiency and phlegm dampness,syndrome of exhaustion of Yin Fluid and Body Fluid caused by stomach's hotness,the others).The data recorded by the investigation including age of onset,six sex hormones levels and endometrial thickness.Results:1.The frequency of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes of hypomenorrhea from high to low in turn is kidney deficiency in 189 cases(40.13%),blood stasis in 66cases(14.01%),phlegm wet in 63 cases(13.38%),blood deficiency in 62 cases(13.16%),syndrome of kidney deficiency and blood stasis in 36 cases(7.64%),deficiency of liver and kidney in 18 cases(3.82%),syndrome of both qi and blood deficiency in 17cases(3.61%),syndrome of both kidney deficiency and liver-depression in 10 cases(2.12%),kidney deficiency and phlegm dampness in 5 cases(1.06%),syndrome of exhaustion of Yin Fluid and Body Fluid caused by stomach's hotness in 2 cases(0.42%).The four main TCM syndromes are kidney deficiency,blood stasis,phlegm wet,blood deficiency.2.The onset age is mainly about 21 to 40,the distribution of age is no significant difference(P>0.05).3.Two hundred and eighty-one patients had inspection of sex hormones,about 40.57%of them is abnormal.The four main TCM syndromes occupied 93.86% of them.4.Estradiol and Follicle Stimulating Hormone are lower in kidney deficiency comparing to blood stasis,phlegm wet,blood deficiency.Luteinizing Hormone is higher in phlegm wet than the other three common TCM syndromes.5.The percentage of those whose endometrial thickness below 8 mm among the 290 patients is 48.28%.There is a significant difference among different TCM syndromes of hypomenorrhea about endometrial thickness(P < 0.05),kidney deficiency and blood stasis are thinner than the others.Conclusion:The result of the study showed that there is four main TCM syndromes:kidney deficiency,blood stasis,phlegm wet,blood deficiency.Patients who have hypomenorrhea about to have abnormal sex hormone level and thinner endometrial thickness.Mean level of FSH,LH,E2 have significant difference among the four mainly TCM syndromes which are awaited more studies.
