Clinical Research Of Wearing Scalp Acupuncture Combine Intervention Training On CARS And ABC Scale In Autism Children

Objective:The study is to do rehabilitation for autistic children through a combination of scalp acupuncture and intervention training to obtain better curative effect than traditional rehabilitation,and to explore the effect on the clinical symptoms of autistic children,providing a new ideas for the treatment of autism.Methods:58 children with autism were randomly divided into control group(n=28)and treatment group(n =30).The two groups used the same method of intervention training,language behavior training and sensory integration training,both training is done by the Suzhou Boai children’s hospital.Treatment group were extra treated by acupuncture,body acupuncture and scalp acupuncture with retaining needle,and wear scalp acupuncture while doing intervention training.Treatment was 1 times a day for a period of 5 days to rest for 2 days.The treatment lasted for 4 courses with the course of 1 month,and to visit after the end of treatment for 2 months.Evaluate and compare the clinical efficacy between two groups before and after treatment with childhood autism rating scale(CARS)and children with Autism Behavior Checklist(ABC),followed the assessment of CARS and effective rate.Results:①Overall curative effect:two groups of the total efficiency and efficacy level were with significant difference(P<0.05)after treatment,showing the curative effect in the treatment group is better than control group.②The CARS score:scores of two groups were decreased significantly after treatment compared with before(P<0.05),and the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).③The ABC score:scores of two groups were decreased significantly after treatment compared with before(P<0.05).The each factor of ABC,feeling ability,athletic ability and self-care ability between groups after treatment was no significant difference(P>0.05),and the ability of communication and language were significantly different(P<0.05).④Follow up CARS scores and effective rate were basically unchanged after treatment.Conclusion:①The scalp needle with intervention training is effective in the Treatment of childhood autism and is more effective than the traditional simple rehabilitation training.②The scalp needle with intervention training is more effective in the imprvement of language and communication ability than rehabilitation training.
