Observation On Therapeutic Effect Of Acupoint Catgut Embedding Combined With Xinmaitong Capsule In Treating Hyperlipidemia

Objective To observe the curative effect of acupoint catgut embedding combined with Xinmaitong Capsule on hyperlipidemia,clarifying the advantages of acupoint catgut embedding combined with Xinmaitong Capsule in the treatment of hyperlipidemia and providing new ideas?new methods and clinical research evidence for clinical comprehensive treatment of hyperlipidemia.Methods 60 patients with hyperlipidemia admitted in Yunhe Hospital of TCM in Zhejiang from March 2015 to June 2016 were selected as the objects of observation,randomly and were divided into two groups:Western medicine group(32 cases)and TCM comprehensive group(33 cases)treated for 3 courses.The body mass index(BMI)and blood lipid level were measured before and after treatment in two groups.The clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared,and the blood lipid levels were observed at the end of the follow-up period of 3 months and 6 months.The patients in two groups should maintain the usual work,life and low-fat diet.Western medicine group was treated with Simvastatin Dispersible Tablets 20mg every night,taking 42 consecutive days;TCM comprehensive group was treated with acupoint catgut embedding(acupoints:Zusanli,Fenglong,Sanyinjiao,Zhongwan,Pishu,Weishu,Guanyuan,Tianshu)once every two weeks as a course of treatment,a total of 3 times of treatment;at the same time,TCM comprehensive group was given medication of Xinmaitong Capsule 3 pills every time,three times a day for 42 days.Results 1.Compared with before treatment,the levels of blood lipid(TC,TG,HDL-C)in the treatment group were significantly improved,body mass index was significantly decreased,and the level of TC in Western medicine group was significantly decreased,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);2.After treatment,two groups of patients with body mass index(BMI),blood lipid level and clinical efficacy,showed that the effect of TCM group was more significant(P<0.05);3.Following up blood lipid levels 3 months after the end of treatment,TC,TG and HDL-C levels in TCM comprehensive group were significantly improved compared with before treatment,and there was significant difference(P<0.05);TC levels in Western medicine group before treatment were significantly improved,and there was significant difference(P<0.05).4.Following up blood lipid levels after 6 months with the end of treatment,the blood lipid indicators of TCM comprehensive group were improved compared with before treatment,but there was no significant difference(P>0.05);TC levels of Western medicine group compared with before treatment were significantly improved and there was significant difference(P<0.05).5.During the treatment,no adverse events and serious adverse reactions were found in the two groups.Conclusion Acupoint catgut embedding combined with Xinmaitong Capsule in the treatment of hyperlipidemia has significant clinical efficacy,it is worthy of clinical reference and promotion.The curative effect of this therapy was significant,but the long-term effect was not significant.
