Clinical Observation Of The Treatment Of Cisplatin-based Chemotherapy Induced Delayed Vomiting By Acupuncture Combined With Navel Therapy

Objective This study aimed to identify the therapeutic effect of acupuncture combined with navel therapy in treating cisplatin-based chemotherapy induced delayed vomiting.Methods 64 patients with diagnosis standards and criteria of cisplatin induced delayed vomiting were randomly divided into observation group and control group,32 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine treatment alone,using granisetron and hexadecadrol.On the basis of conventional western medicine treatment,the observation group was given acupuncture combined with navel therapy.the acupuncture was applied to Neiguan(PC6),Zusanli(ST36),Gongsun(SP04),Zhongwan(RN12).The herb power was applied to Shenque(RN08).It was mixed with pinellia and ginger at a certain ratio.All the patients were evaluated by multinatioal association of supportive caner antiemesis tool(MAT)in the 2nd and 5th day during the treatment,Karnofsky socre was evaluated before treatment,2nd and 5th day during the treatment.Results 1.In the 2nd day,the times of nausea and vomiting in the observation group was less than the control group(P<0.05).2.In the 5th day,both group can effectively alleviate the vomiting symptoms.the times of nausea and vomiting decreased significantly(P<0.05).The difference between two group is significant(P<0.05).The observation group can effectively improve the physical condition of patients,the Karnofsky scores were significantly increased(P<0.05).Observation group is better than control group in improving the physical condition of patients(P<0.01).3.The total effective rate of the observation group and control group were 93.75%and 75%respectively(P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with navel therapy can relieve the patient's symptoms of vomiting and also can improve the physical condition and life quality of the patients.It may has certain guiding effect for the promotion of the treatment of cisplatin-based chemotherapy induced delayed vomiting with acupuncture and navel therapy.
