Correlation Of Interleukin-10polymorphisms With The Susceptibility To Chronic Periodontitis Among Uygur Adults In The Moyu Area Of Xinjiang

Objective: To investigate the association between IL-10-597 C/A single nucleotide polymorphisms and chronic periodontitis in Moyu Uygur population.Methods : According to the exclusion criteria,randomly selected 100 samples in each group from the early established chronic periodontitis in biological sample library.The study was conducted on healthy control group,mild chronic periodontitis group,moderate to severe chronic periodontitis group.The 597 C/A site in the promoter sequences was analyzed using Tetra-Primer Amplification Refractory Mutation System-Polymerase Chain Reaction method to test the genotype and allele distributions.Statistical analysis was performed using Chi-squared test,ordinal classification Logistic regression analysis and other methods.Results: The genotype and allele frequencies in healthy control group,mild chronic periodontitis group,moderate to severe chronic periodontitis group distribution exhibited no significantly different.(P=0.814,P=0,640).Conclusion: The IL-10-597(C/A)single nucleotide polymorphisms in the gene promoter do not appear to be associated with chronic periodontitis in uygur adult population.
