Background and objective:In recent years, the incidence of breast cancer has been gradually increasing.Today breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed female malignancy, which imposes a seriousthreat to the health of female individuals.Hence the diagnosis andthe subsequent treatment at the onset or early stage of breast cancer has been established asthe key factor in improving the prognosis of breast cancer patients.Traditional methods of detection include: physical examination, ultrasonic examination, mammography, magnetic resonance imaging, tumor marker and pathological examination. However, all these methods are required the attendance in hospital for examination, with complex, high cost, and other shortcomings. They are not, therefore, suitable for large-scale screening of breast cancer high-risk group. In recent years, the tests of urine sample for the tumor detection have been advanced greatly. These tests have the multiple advantages, such as: simple SOP,noninvasive, low cost et.al.At present, there are certain studies about the screening of p-hydroxyphenylalanine in urine for malignant tumors at early stage. In this thesis,we will study the method of the determination of p-hydroxyphenylalanine in urine and their specificity in detecting the breast cancer, carefully evaluating the value of their clinical application in terms of screening for high-risk breast cancer patients. Methods:In the study,we adopted the detection of 50 women who accepted routine body test in the second hospital of Jilin University since March 2016 to June 2016.Meanwhile 50 patients diagnosed with breast benign tumor were selected randomly.Another 50 breast cancer patients were was set as cancer group. The author analyzed the statistical data by using the SPSS21.0 softwarefor the windows. Results:Among the 50 female individuals in normal control group,1 positive outcome was determined, namely, the positive rate was 2%(1/50).Meanwhile,in 50 benign tumor patients,2 positive results were detected,.Furthermore,in 50 breast cancer cases,44 cases were shown as positive results when it comes to preoperative examination.Nonetheless, when doing the test after surgery, the positive rate was decreased to 6%(3/50).Conclusions:1.The detection of p-hydroxyphenylalanine in urine might not be a sensitive method for the implication for breast benign tumor.2.Detection of p-hydroxyphenylalanine in urine might be available for the early imply for breast cancer. Its advantages may contain: convenience,non-invasiveness,simple instruction and so on,which might be applied in the diagnosis of breast cancer as a specific biomarker.
