Clinical Effect Observation Of Vitamin D Deficiency Rickets Of The Spleen Deficiency And Liver Prosperous Syndrome With Jia Wei Yi Pi Zhen Jing Pulvis

Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic effect of Jia Wei Yi Pi Zhen Jing Pulvis in treatment of course amongst children of the spleen deficiency and liver prosperous syndrome in TCM of vitamin D deficiency rickets.Methods:According to the random,parallel control principle,63 vitamin D deficiency rickets children of the spleen deficiency and liver prosperous syndrome were divided into treatment group(n = 32)and control group(n = 31).The treatment group were given oral prescription of Jia Wei Yi Pi Zhen Jing Pulvis while the control group were supplied with vitamin D,calcium carbonate D3 granule orally.Meanwhile,the families of the 2 groups of children were educated with comprehensive and detailed guidance and nursing condition.The duration course was 8 weeks.Evaluation of therapeutic effect were conducted after 8 weeks with findings of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndromes improvement,the changes of serum 25-(OH)-D,calcium,phosphorus,alkaline phosphatase,including the variations of single TCM symptom scores(anorexia,mental state)and syndrome progression in analyzed.Result:1.On TCM syndrome therapeutic effect,the total effective rate of treatment group and control group were circa 93.75%and 90.32%respectively.It was concluded the treatment group was proven better than the control group.2.On 25-OH-D,calcium,phosphorus,alkaline phosphatase,the two groups pre and post treatment values were compared,the findings was the score post treatment for serum 25-OH-D,calcium,phosphorus and alkaline phosphatase were significantly better than pre-treatment value;It was concluded the post treatment value progress in serum phosphorus were better than the control group.3.On overall efficacy,the TCM syndrome total scores in relation to single symptom scores(anorexia,spirit),the treatment group performed better than the control group.Conclusion:1.Jia Wei Yi Pi Zhen Jing Pulvis can significantly reduce the TCM syndrome total scores and single symptom scores(anorexia,spirit)of vitamin D deficiency rickets(spleen deficiency and liver prosperous syndrome)amongst children,and the treatment group performed better than the control group.2.Jia Wei Yi Pi Zhen Jing Pulvis can improve the serum calcium,phosphorus,alkaline phosphatase and serum 25-OH-D levels in children with vitamin D deficiency rickets(spleen deficiency and liver prosperous syndrome),and prevent and cure this kind of rickets.
