Objective To understand the correlative factors of vitamin D deficiency rickets under the age of7years old Children, and provide basic data for the prevention and control of rickets in children.Methods Using cluster sampling recruit75cases of children outpatient clinicor hospital diagnosed rickets under the age of7in a hospital from April to November2011in Hefei,28cases of male, female47cases, mean age was3.53±1.23years old, and at the same time, using cluster sampling recruit children who has ruled out of rickets under the age of7in health examination as comparison,79cases of male,71cases of female, mean age was3.73±1.49years old. Using self-designed questionnaire study related factors, mainly including family, social and economic factors, and mother’s nutrition and health related factors during pregnancy, and children’s birth and health related factors. We use SPSS16.0software statistical analysis after data collection, and single factor analysis use χ2inspection, and the related influencing factors of rickets use multivariate unconditional Logistic regressionResults In this investigation, a total of225children, among the150children in the control group, the minimum age was0.83years old, the maximum age was6.93years old and the mean age was3.73±1.49years old; among the75cases group, the minimum age was1.48years old, the maximum age was6.85years old and themean age was3.53±1.23year old, and the difference of the two groups about the composition of age (t=0.996, p=0.996) and sex ratio (x2=0.726, p=0.726) had no apparently statistically significant. For the32factors which might be have associated with the attack of rickets, according to the factors of family,social and economic,and the condition of mother’s nutrition and health during pregnancy and children’s birth and health condition by unconditional multivariate Logistic regression analysis. Results showed that pregnancy often eat fish during pregnancy, outdoor activities and enough sunshine duration, late pregnancy the supplementation of vitamin D and calcium, or children7months began to eat foods high in calcium, children with the sun every exposed skin area is larger, are protective factors of rickets in children.Conclusions The most important thing to reduce the attack of vitamin D-deficiency ricketsis prevention. First of all is to strengthen publicity and education during pregnancy, the vital point is that doctor should repeatedly encourage pregnant women to eat more calcium-rich food, do more outdoor activities and take incod liver oil or calcium in pregnant later period.At the same time,infants eat calcium-rich food from seven months and exposing larger area skin in sunshine are also protective factors of rickets in children.
