Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease with high rates of morbidity, disability and mortality is an important public health problem at present.Forced expiratory volume, percentage of forced vital capacity to the predicted value, one second forced expiratory volume, percentage of one second forced expiratory volume to the predicted value and one second rate are important indicators of lung function, with great significance to diagnosis, severity assessment, progression of disease, prognosis and treatment response of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.Factors affecting lung function include physiological factors such as age, sex, height and BMI,lifestyle such as smoking and physical activity level, and environmental factor.Controlling of BMI,smoking and physical activity level to lung function have important clinical value for diagnosis and prevention of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. The thesis focuses on the effects of smoking,BMI and physical activity level on lung function in Chinese population, analyzed the effect of physical activity level on lung function in smokers and non-smokers,and summarized exercise intervention program in patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. The main content of the thesis is as following:(1)To study the effects of smoking status and BMI on lung function in Chinese population. The collected 13764 data were screened by exclusion criteria, according to the amount of cigarettes, participants are divided into four groups, non smoking group, small amount of smoking group, medium amount of smoking group and large amount of somking group. And participants are also classified into formal weight, overweight and obesity according to BMI.Stepwise multivariate linear regression analysis of lung function were in different groups. The results showed that the lung function index decreased with the increase of smoking amount, and the greater the amount of smoking, the faster the lung function index decreased, but small amount of smoking has no obvious impact on forced expiratory volume, percentage of forced vital capacity to the predicted value and one second forced expiratory volume. While with the increase in BMI,forced expiratory volume, percentage of forced vital capacity to the predicted value, percentage of one second forced expiratory volume to the predicted value and one second rate increased. So it is reasonable to control the BMI and promote smokers to quit or reduce the amount of smoking.(2)Study on the influence of physical activity level on pulmonary function in Chinese population, and effect of physical activity level on lung function decline in smokers and non-smokers.Participants were divided into low physical activity group, medium physical activity level group and high physical activity level group according to physical activity level,in each group, participants were also divided into two according to whether smoking or not,and stepwise multivariate linear regression analysis of lung function were made in each subgroup. The results show that moderate physical activity level only improve the percentage of forced vital capacity to the predicted value, and did not improve the role of lung function index in forced expiratory volume, one second forced expiratory volume, percentage of one second forced expiratory volume to the predicted value and one second rate, while high physical activity level have a significant improvement on lung function index.Changes in physical activity level have no obvious effect on improvement of lung function decline in smokers. Not only by improving the level of physical activity to improve non-smokers lung function, but also advocate smoking cessation so that physical activity can better improve the lung function indicators in smokers to prevent the occurrence and development of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.(3)According to the effect of physical activity level on lung function of smokers and non-smokers and the relationship between physical activity level and exercise, the exercise intervention program was analyzed in patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.Respectively,we discussed the intervention effect of exercise on different stages of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease patients, aerobic exercise includes ground walking exercise,Sun's Taiji and water sports exercise, resistant exercises such as traditional resistance exercise, resistance exercise based on elastic tube and body vibration exercise. We also study the controlling of the amount of sports in customized exercise prescription and monitoring of sports risk in exercise in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease patients. To investigate the effects of smoking status,BMI and physical activity level on lung function in Chinese population can be a good prevention of the occurrence and development of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.Personalized exercise intervention prescription customization provide a positive and effective guidance for prevention and rehabilitation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
