| The paper consists two parts: the summaries of documents and a clinical observation.There are two summaries of documents. The first reriews the experimental and clinical research progress of the disease both in china and abroad in recent years. It includes the research of mechanism,diagnosis and treatment . The second reriews TCM treatment on CAG in recent years, including TCM treatments based on syndrome differentiation with methods of exclusive TCM formula, modified basic formula, Acup & Moxibustion, etc.The clinical part is about to investigate the effect on treating Chronic Atrophic Gastritis(CAG) of Deficiency Cold in the Spleen and Stomach with the electrothermal acupucture combined herbal medicine. Methods: 60 CAG patients conforming to the diagnostic criteria were randomly divided into two groups. One group (30 CAG) was treated with the electrothermal acupucture combined herbal medicine while the other group (30 CAG) with the electrothermal acupuncture only. And the changes in the symptoms, gastroscopy expression, pathologic lesion including H.pylor, Activity Chronic inflammation, Gastric gland atrophy, Intestinal metaplasia(IM),Dysplasia(Dys)before and after treatment were checked. The results showed the total and significant effective rate of the electrothermal acupucture combined herbal medicine group were 86.67% and 50.00%,and the electrothermal acupuncture group were 76.67% and 20.00%.Statistical analysis showed that there was not significant different( P> 0.05) on total effective rate. But there was significant different (P< 0.05)on significant effective rate. Meanwhile, the electrothermal acupucture combined herbal medicine can ameliorate the symptoms such as stomachache, anorexia, loose stool, adynamia, improve gastroscopy expression, reverse pathologic lesion. Conclusion:The effect of treating CAG by the electrothermal acupucture combined herbal medicine is significant. |
