Relationship Between Personality Traits And Quality Of Life In Bladder Cancer

Objective: The investigation to the diagnosis and treatment of bladder cancer hospitalized patients personality traits and quality of life,understand the current quality of life in patients with bladder cancer,and analysis between the quality of life of patients with different demographic variables between the differences and personality characteristics of patients with bladder cancer and explore the relationship between the quality of life,so as to further explore the theoretical support to improve and enhance the quality of life patients with bladder cancer and has practical significance.Methods: This cross-sectional survey,study in 153 cases of bladder cancer from September 2015 to April 2016 in Dalian City,a three level of first-class hospital for inpatient treatment,using self-designed questionnaire,Eysenck personality questionnaire Chinese Version(EPQ-RSC),quality of life scale(WHOQOL-BREF)of WHO study on patients,the data were used to test the differences of SPSS17.0,correlation analysis and regression analysis,using P<0.05 as a statistically significant difference in standard.Results:(1)T test: the dimensions of quality of life in patients with bladder cancer score from high to low is the environmental dimension(12.57±1.6),physiological dimension(11.84±1.81),social dimension(11.67±2.08),psychological dimension(11.57± 1.60).Each dimension of quality of life of patients with bladder cancer compared with the norm found that the quality of life of patients with bladder cancer in the environmental dimension is slightly higher than the norm(t=3.14,p=0.002),and other dimensions(physical,psychological,social relations)(2)Variance analysis: Using analysis of variance to test the differences of demographic variables in patients with bladder cancer,results of different ages(F=15.55,P<0.05) with different education levels(F=38.71,P<0.05)the difference between the quality of life of patients with bladder cancer,and different occupation(F=1.97,p>0.05)and the medical care system(F=0.54,p>0.05)had no significant difference the quality of life of patients with bladder cancer.(3)Correlation analysis: correlation analysis of patients with bladder cancer personality characteristics and life quality showed that the total life quality of patients with bladder cancer and neurotic personality characteristics,physiological,psychological and environmental dimensions were negatively correlated(r=-0.349,r=-0.230,r=-0.333,r=-0.242,p<0.001);the spirit of quality and quality of life of patients,physiological and the social relationship dimension was negatively correlated(r=-0.287,r=-0.239,r=-0.251,p<0.001);and the internal and external to the overall quality of life,physiological,psychological and social dimensions are positively correlated(r=0.309,r=0.211,r=0.220,r=0.255,p<0.001);cover dimensions and total life quality of patients with positive psychological dimension and correlation(r=0.170,r=0.163,p<0.05).By stepwise regression analysis to further explore the influence of personality characteristics of patients with bladder cancer on quality of life in patients with bladder cancer,the three dimensions of personality characteristics were entered into the equation,the influence order of neuroticism(b=-0.234,P=0.019),and to(b=0.230,P= 0.002)and psychoticism(b=-0.184,P=0.004).Conclusions:(1)Now,the overall quality of life of patients with bladder cancer is relatively poor.(2)The quality of life of patients with bladder cancer is related to the age and education level of the patients,and has no relation with the occupation and medical payment.(3)Neuroticism and psychoticism of bladder cancer patients and their life quality is negatively related,and the quality of life significantly,with extroversion tendency of bladder cancer patients and their quality of life was positively correlated,and the quality of life significantly.In addition,the spirit of quality,age,education degree to great effect on the quality of life of patients.
