Objective:Using Oral health impact profile--14(OHIP-14),to assess the Recurrent aphthous ulcer patients' oral health-related quality of life(OHRQOL).Using Self-Rating Anxiety Scale,Self-Rating Depression Scale,visual analogue scale and OHIP-14,to assess the correlation of Oral Health related Quality of Life of Recurrent aphthous ulcer patients and the mental health state.Backing up the theory for the etiology and pathogenesis of RAU,by the research of the data.Exploring the way to optimize the treatment and provide a strong basis for clinical treatment.Methods:In this research,with 111cases,who were selected from March 2015 to December 2016 in the Dental clinic of The first hospital affiliated to the DaLian Medical university.And another 100 cases obtained from the average person and matched general data such as the gender,with RAU were used as a comparison group.OHIP-14,SAS,SDS were used to investigate 111 patients with RAU and non RAU control group,by recording VAS value,the number and location of ulcer.Recycling the questionnaire on the spot,check to ensure the validity of the questionnaire.Data were analyzed using SPSS22.0.Results:1.There are 77 women and 34 men in 111 cases patients of RAU,their average age is 38.3±14.4.There are 86 patients in minor aphthous ulcer(MiRAU),11 patients in major aphthous ulcer(MaRAU),14 patients in herpetiform ulcers(HU).There are 38.3%ulcers in tongue,There are 25.5%ulcers in lip,There are 12.3%ulcers in cheek,There are5.0%ulcers in the oral mucosa and supervising,There are 4.0%ulcers in soft palate.There were 12 cases have obvious family genetic predisposition.There are 13 cases related to menstruation.After quitting increase in 3 cases.2.The median value of RAU patients was 22,significantly greater than the m edian value of 10 for the control group(P<0.05).In the areas of functional lim itation physiological pain,physiological barrier,psychological barrier,the differe nce is obvious too(P<0.05).3.The RAU Patients with negative effects in each entry of OHIP-14,have anthe r item higher than control group beside,Which is "Feel life is not so satisfactor y".The difference is especially significant.4.The worse of oral health—related quality of life(OHRQOL),the heavier s ymptom of anxiety and depression,the RAU patient will have.The Self-Rating Anxiety Scale total value,Self-Rating Depression Scale total value and VAS sc ores were positively correlated with OHIP-14 total value(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.RAU has a negative impact on patients' OHRQOL,Which mainly reflected in oral functions limitation and psychological barrier.In the clinical tre atment,we should pay full attention to patients' recurrent ulcer him o oral functi on obstacle problems.2.The Self-Rating Anxiety Scale total value,Self-Rating Depression Scale total value and VAS scores were positively correlated with OHIP-14 total valu e(P<0.05).During the clinical drug treatment,giving patients psychological interv ention,can obtain better treatment effect.
