ObjectiveThis study adopts prospective randomized controlled trials, the acupuncture combined with the Chinese medicine as the treating group, and the western medicine as the control group. To compare the efficacy of two groups by evaluating the body weight, waist circumference,Constitution integral of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),glycerin three greases(TG),total cholesterol(TC),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)of phlegm-dampness constitution patients with dyslipidemia of the Metabolic syndrome before and after treatment. To investigated the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine in the treatment on the patients to seek a better way to treat Metabolic syndrome patients with dyslipidemia and phlegm-dampnessconstitution.MethodsCollecting 60 dyslipidemia metabolic syndrome patients with phlegm-dampness constitution in the Preventive Treatment center in Foshan Hospital of TCM according to the diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria from May 2016 to February 2017.The patients were randomly divided into the treatment group(acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine)and the control group(western medicine),30 cases in each. The treatment group was treated by auricular therapy, abdominal acupuncture and Shanzha Xiaozhi capsule based on lifestyle health education. The auricular points were wei(C04),abdomen(AH8),pi(C013),nei fen mi(CO18),shen men(TF4),sa n jiao(CO17).One ear was acupunctured, and auricular-plaster was on another ear every time; The abdominal acupoints were Zhongwan(RN12),Xiawan(RN10),Qihai(RN6),GuanYuan(RN4),TianShu(ST25),DaHeng(SP15),Huaroumen(ST24),Wailing(ST26).The control group was educated health lifestyle and took Fenofibrate Capsules orally,1 capsules per 200mg in daily dinner. Both groups were treated for 1 weeks with a total of 2 courses of treatment for a total of 4 weeks. The informed consent must be signed before treatment, and the integral of TCM Constitution, weight, waist circumference,TG,TC,HDL-C,and LDL-C must be checked after 2 courses of treatment.ResultsThe gender, age, weight, waist circumference,TG,TC,HDL-C and LDL-C of treatment group and control group were compared before treatment, and the difference was not statistically significant(P?0.05)and means the two groups were comparable. The differences of the weight, waist circumference,TG,TCM Constitution integral,TC,HDL-C and LDL-C were statistically significant(P<0.05)in each group after 2 courses of treatment. After treatment between the two groups in body weight,TG,TC,HDL-C,LDL-C comparison, the difference was not statistically significant(P?0.05),and in the waist and TCM physical integral, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion1.The group combined the acupuncture and Chinese medicine and western medicine group were effective in the treatment of dyslipidemiaMetabolic syndrome patients with phlegm-dampness constitution.2.The combination of acupuncture and Chinese medicine can reduce the body weight,TG,TC,LDL-C,and improve HDL-C in the dyslipidemiaMetabolic syndrome patients with phlegm-dampness constitution which curative effect was similar to that of simple western medicine group.3.The combination of acupuncture and Chinese medicine group was better than the simple western medicine group in reducing the waist circumference of Metabolic syndrome patients with dyslipidemia and phlegm-dampness constitution.4.Auricular therpy, abdominal acupuncture combined with Shanzha Xiaozhi capsule is comprehensive an ideal therapeutic method in Metabolic syndrome patients with dyslipidemia and phlegm-dampness constitution.
