The Effect Of Acupuncture Point Massage Therapy Based On The Theory Of Main And Collateral Channels On Postpartum Hypogalactia

ObjectivesThis research has selected six acupoints based on the four main and collateral channels related to the breast illness to massage to intervene and cure the patients after cesarean delivery who suffered postpartum hypogalactia.Via the five observation index including the lactation yield?the breast filling degree?the milk ropiness?the breast silting-up degree and the safety index to judge the curative effect of acupoint massage therapy comprehensively and analyze its mechanism of action to offer scientific basis for clinic to promote the rate of breast feeding.MethodsA total of 60 patients with postpartum hypogalactia in the first affiliated hospital of Guangzhou Chinese medicine baby-friendly unit from July 2016 years to December were randomly divided into observation group(n=30)and control group(n=30).Patients in observation group were treated by the acupuncture point massage based on main and collateral channels for five days while those in control group only by routine nursing including the propaganda of breast feeding and health education.Then judging the lactation yield?the breast filling degree?the milk ropiness?the breast silting-up degree on 8:00am in second day and the overall curative effect and safety index when they leave the hospital.Results1.There were 60 patients enrolled in this research,each group for 30 ones.During the study,there were two patients dropped out the observation,one of them because of the acute mammitis,and one because of the breast silting-up.The control group has no expulsion case.Therefore,in fact,there were 58 ones enrolled in the study finally,with 28 ones for the observation group and 30 for the control group.2.Before the intervention of the study,the basic condition were well balanced including the age,gestational weeks and the time of abortion,et al.There was no difference between the two teams in dayl-2 for the milk seecretion?the breast filling degree and the breast silting-up degree(p>0.05),but from the third day,The scores of the milk seecretion?breast filling degree?breast silting-up degree of the patients in observation group were lower than the control group(p<0.05).There was no differences in the two groups for the scores of milk ropiness in initial four days(p>0.05),but in fifth day,the difference was distinct(p<0.05).3.There were distinct differences in every point-in-time in the two groups(p<0.05),especially the observation group.There was no any adverse event in the study.Conclusion1.The effect of acupoint massage therapy on puerpera after cesarean section who suffered postpartum hypogalactia i's distinct,it could promote the milk seecretion and breast filling degree,meanwhile,reducing the breast silting-up degree.But as for the milk ropiness,the effect was common.2.The effect of acupoint massage therapy is distinct and fast,which is maternity acceptable,safe and painless,which is worthy of promotion.In clinic.
