Oral sensory-motor disorder is one of the major factors leading to dysarthria in children with cerebral palsy. However, there is a lack of assessment of the sensory-motor disorder of children with cerebral palsy in domestic. The aim of this study was to develop the sensory-motor assessment materials for children with cerebral palsy, and to evaluate the effects of this assessment on children aged 3-7 years old from age, gender, gross motor function and paralysis. The sensory-motor characteristics of children with cerebral palsy were compared with normal children to explore the sensory-motor characteristics.of children with cerebral palsy. In addition, this study also validates the correlation between sensory-motor and articulation clarity in children with cerebral palsy. The main contents and results of this study include the following aspects:1.Oral sensory-motor assessment compilationBased on the assessment of Lu Hongyun's oral motor function, this study increased the contents of oral sensory assessment, supplemented the project of oral exercise, and adjusted the original assessment's measurement method and grading standards according to clinical practice.Through the expert analysis of the assessment items, and ultimately the formation of the Oral sensory-motor assessment. The results of the reliability analysis of the assessment showed that the evaluation table has good reliability and validity. At the same time, the study also obtained the 3-7years old children's Oral sensory-motor function's development order.2.Application of the oral sensory-motor assessment(1)Comparative study of oral sensory-motor function of normal and cerebral palsy childrenIn this study,we found that the sensory-motor scores of children with cerebral palsy were lower than those of normal children. The age and gender were the influencing factors of the sensation and movement of the normal children. The effect of the two factors on the children with cerebral palsy was not significant. The sensory-motor function of children with spastic cerebral palsy was significantly different from that of ordinary children. The children with spastic quadriplegia have the most serious Oral sensory-motor disorder in children with cerebral palsy.Their mandibular movement, lip movement and tongue movement disorders were more serious;children with cerebral palsy's oral sensory-motor function could affected by their gross motor function, the heavy the gross motor function, the worse the oral sensory-motor function. There was no significant difference between the socore of the cerebral palsy children with moderate and severe gross motor function disorder.Similarly, there was no significant difference of mandibular movement, lip movement and tongue movement between the two groups.(2)Study on the correlation between oral sensory-motor function and articulation clarity in children with cerebral palsy In this study,we analyzed the oral sensory-motor function and word sharpness and sentence clarity of children with cerebral palsy. The results showed that the oral sensory-motor function of children with cerebral palsy had moderate correlation with word and sentence clarity. As a summary,we developed the sensory-motor assessment, and obtained the developmental order of normal children. We also explored the sensory-motor characteristics of children with cerebral palsy, and validated the correlation between sensory-motor and articulation clarity in children with cerebral palsy.
