Objective 22 PD patients were followed up in one week before and 6 months after the STN-DBS treatment.The motor function,living ability and non-motor symptom were scored.Observing the improvement rate of motor function,living ability and non-motor symptoms such as anxiety,cognition,sleep disorder,salivate.To explore STN-DBS treatment effects on non-motor symptoms of PD patients.Method Collecting all the patients diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson's disease in PD outpatient clinic of Jining people's hospital and proved accord with STN-DBS operation standard during January 2015 and January 2016.It is a self-control,using H-Y classification,unified Parkinson's disease rating scale II and III(UPDRSII,III),Hamilton depression scale(HAMD),Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA),simple mental state scale(MMSE),Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)and clinical classification of saliva(SCS-PD)to evaluate the depression,anxiety,cognitive,sleep disorder and the production of saliva one week before operation and 6 months post-operation respectively.Collecting postoperative adverse reactions,including changes,flustered,giddy.fullness in head,paresthesia,blurred vision,dysarthria,convulsions,dystonia.Results The score of UPDRSII?III when 6 months post-operation opening machine have obvious improvement compared with the condition one week before surgery taking medicine(P<0.001).The score of HAMD?HAMA?MMSE show improvement of depression,anxiety and cognitive symptom(P<0.001),but the improvement rate of cognitive is lower.The improvement also be seen in the score of PQSI and SCS-PD(P<0.001).Illness severity has effect on the anxiety,depression,cognitive,salivate,sleeping quality.Abnormal feelings can be disappear through reducing the voltage and adjusting the stimulation parameters,Dyskinesia was seen on three patients when open the machine,but it can disappeared through reducing the intensity of stimulus and decreasing the dose of levodopa.Conclusion Exact effect was found in motor symptom and the non-motor symptom also has improvement,none serious complications was found in these patients.
