Objective:Through clinical randomized controlled trials, observing mainly acupuncture regulating liver compared with oral medicine for the treatment of female acne lesions, systemic symptoms, differences in quality of life.Impacting to evaluate the synthetic effect of acupuncture regulating liver for female acne, so as to explore more therapic methods for female acne in clinical treatment with acupuncture.Methods:A randomized controlled clinical trial was performed,60 patients met the inclusion and exclusion criteria of qualified subjects were divided into the treatment group and the control group (30 cases in each one). With the base of rub clindamycin phosphate gel and living in nursing outer skin lesions two times every day, the treatment group treats to impose acupuncture regulating liver therapy per day,20 days for a course of treatment,2 consecutive cycles. The control group were taken oral medicine, according to the weight is greater than 50kg, three times a day, or weighing less than 50kg,2 times a day, each time took 10mg, a total of 40 days. By comparing the indicators, evaluated the skin lesions, systemic symptoms and facial acne specific quality of life questionnaire score before and after treatment.Using SPSS statistical software analysis to evaluate results and efficacy.Results:1.Before the treatment, the baseline compared to the situation, including age, disease duration, severity grade lesions, skin lesions symptom scores, systemic symptoms scores and face specific quality of life questionnaire score, the statistical analysis showed no significant difference (P> 0.05).2.After treatment, acupuncture regulating liver group and western medicine group have significant difference (P<0.05) in skin lesions and systemic symptoms, as well as face-specific quality of life improved levels, compared with before treatment. The difference between the two groups skin lesions, systemic symptoms score was statistically significant (P<0.05); but they had no significant difference between the specific quality of life scale score (P> 0.05), the improve of the quality of life is considerably.3.Comprehensive Evaluation:After treatment, Acupuncture Regulating Liver group, the total effective rate was 92.9%, Western medicine group, the total effective rate was 82.8%, difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclousion:1. Acupuncture regulating liver and oral medicine are effective in treating female acne, and acupuncture regulating liver is superior to oral medicine, both the security and compliance of two are good.2. Acupuncture regulating liver is superior to oral medicine in improving patients' skin lesions and the severity of systemic symptoms, and effect on the quality of life between two methods is equivalent.
