Analysis Of Syphilis Prevalence In Taicang From 2008 To 2014

【Objective】 Understanding syphilis epidemic situation from 2008 to 2014 in Taicang city,provide scientific guidance for Taicang city syphilis intervention.【Methods】 Statistical analysis on 2008-2014 cases of syphilis data in Taicang city,according to age,sex,stage of syphilis,Characteristics analysis of syphilis epidemic in Taicang city.【Results】 Taicang City,the average incidence of syphilis for 7 years,53.50/10 million people.Under 15 years of age,Syphilis cases are sporadic.15-20 years old population,accounted for 5.16% of the total number of cases of syphilis.20-45 years old sexually active population,Accounted for 55.76%.>60 age,accounting for 12.23%.Latent syphilis accounted for 48% of the reported cases.【Conclusion】 The incidence rate of syphilis was higher in Taicang city in 2008-2014.Sexually active population accounts for the vast majority of cases of syphilis,the elderly population is the fastest growing group o f the incidence of syphilis.In young people,number of female cases are more than male.In elder group,number of male cases are more than female.The number of latent syphilis showed a rapid rising trend.
