Sleep is very important and indispensable to human. Good sleep could relieve fatigue, restore physical strength, maintain a good mental state and play an important role in maintaining the stable state of the internal and external environment of the body and the normal metabolism. With the accelerated process of China's population aging, the proportion of the old population increased and the health status of the elderly and the quality of their life are getting more and more attention. Good sleep is very important, especially for the elderly. with the increase of age, the sleep quality is declining. how to improve the sleep quality, the sleep status and the life quality of the elderly had became the urgent need of social development. the retired old people are a special group of the Hospital, whose sleep quality is affected by too much stress and irregular life. Therefore, we should pay attention to how to improve the sleep quality of these people.? Objective ? This study investigate and analyze the sleep quality and its influence factors of the retired people at a hospital in Changchun. We put forward suggestions and countermeasures, in order to provide scientific basis for improving the sleep quality of retired old people.?Methods?We investigated 469 retired old people at a hospital in Changchun by questionnaire survey. We Collected data and analyzed the data by chi-square test,rank sum test, logistic regression test at Epidata 3, the SPSS20.0 software to analyze the sleep quality and its influencing factors.?Results?128 eldly had bad sleep quality, accounting for 27.3%(128/469) and the difficulty falling asleep accounting for 30.50%(143/469), which is the main sleep disorder. Univariate analysis showed that: The age of the retired old people,marital status, drinking habits, The habit of drink hot milk before going to bed, foot bath before sleep, eating habits, physical exercise habits, self-rated health, disease,The number of disease, depression and anxiety are the factors, which affected the sleep quality(P<0.05). The rate of bad sleep quality is higher at the retired old people with anxiety and depression than those without anxiety and depression.Spearman correlation analysis showed that anxiety and depression were related to the total score of PSQI, sleep time, sleep efficiency, sleep disorders, and Sleep related drugs. In addition, there is a correlation between anxiety and daytime dysfunction. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that dietary habits,self-rated health status, whether suffering from cerebrovascular disease, chronic non communicable diseases, impact of disease on life, depression and anxiety are the factors which affected the sleep quality(P<0.05). Among them, meat and vegetable collocation or the main vegetarian diet are the protective factor of the sleep quality( good sleep quality). Poor self-rated health, suffering from cerebrovascular disease,chronic non communicable diseases, suffering from severe diseases impact,depression and anxiety were the risk factors of sleep quality(bad sleep quality).?Conclusions?1.The rate of bad sleep quality of retired old people is higher,which should get more attention.2.dietary habits, health status, disease situation are the factors,which affected the sleep quality of these retired old people.3.The rate of bad sleep quality is higher at the retired old people with anxiety and depression than those without anxiety and depression.4.To improve the unhealthy lifestyle, promote health, maintain a positive and optimistic attitude were suggested to improve sleep quality.
