ObjectiveTo explore the efficacy, safety and possible mechanism of themanipulation named YANGTOUYAOZHENG in treating Cervicogenic Headache, and to provide a new idea for the clinical treatment of cervicogenic headache.Methods72 patients with cervicogenic headache were randomly divided intotreatment group and control group,36 patients in each group. All the patients were treated with electroacupuncture as the basic treatment. The treatment group was treated with Long's manipulation therapy. The control group was treated by traditional method.Treatment of the schedule:once a day,6 times for a course, the total treatment period was 2 courses, each course interval of 1 day.The differences between the two groups was compared before the treatment of the simple McGill pain scale(SF-MPQ)and the headache-6 score(HIT-6),and the overall efficacy was evaluated at the end of the treatment.SPSS21.0 statistical software was used to analyze and deal with the results,in order to explore the efficacy, safety and possible mechanism of the method of YANGTOUYAOZHENG.Results1.the clinical efficacy evaluation:the total effective rate:thetreatment group 86.11%,the control group 77.78%,by statistical analysis,P>0.05,which can't see that the total effective rate of the two groups are different. The rate of treatment was 58.33%in the treatment group and 22.22%in the control group. The statistical analysis showed that P<0.01,the difference was significant, which indicated that the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group.2.There were no significant differences between the two groups in the scores of sensory score, affective score, visual acuity score(VAS),existing pain intensity score(PPI)and McGill Pain Scale total score before treatment(P<0.05).the difference of sensory score, affective score, visual acuity score(VAS),existing pain intensity score(PPI)and McGill Pain Scale total score were significant(P<0.05)compared with before treatment, indicating that the treatment of both groups were effective;after treatment, the differences between two groups of sensory score, emotional score, visual pain score(VAS),the existing pain intensity score(PPI),McGill Pain Scale total score were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the the score of treatment group decreased more obvious, which means that the treatment group is more effective in relieving pain. After treatment, there was no significant difference in the current pain intensity score(PPI)between the two groups(P>0.05).Which meant there was no significant difference between the two groups in reducing the PPI score.3.(HIT-6)score:There were no significant differences in HIT-6 scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).the HIT-6 scores were significantly different between the two groups after treatment for 2 courses,(P<0.05),which indicated that the treatment of both groups were effective.the differences between the two groups' HIT-6 score were statistically significant after treatment(P<0.05),And the treatment group score decreased more significantly, which meant that the treatment group in improving the quality of life is effective.ConclusionIt is the most commonly used method for the treatment of Atlas pillow joints and Atlanto-axial joint dislocation, which can effectively correct the dislocation of the vertebral facet of the upper cervical vertebrae, restore the biomechanical balance of the cervical spine, and relieve the stimulation of nerve, blood vessel, muscle and so on.the method of YANGTOUYAOZHENG has significant curative effect.which is simple, less adverse reactions, with a stable, accurate, light features, worthy of clinical promotion.
