Clinical Research On Point Catgut-embedding Therapy Of Dispersing Liver-qi And Regulating Stomach For Delayed Vomiting By Chemotherapy

To investigate the efficacy observation of Point Catgutem-bedding Therapy of Dispersing Liver-qi and Regulating Stomach for D elayed Vomiting by chemotherapy.Methods: By taking the foreseeing self cross-over controlled trial,60 patients with digestive tumor were treated with medium-high vomiting risk chemotherapy regimen according to the number randomized method.The observation group was divided into observation group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases).Observation group to acupoint catgut and Western antiemetic,the control group to a simple Western antiemetic.Both groups of patients with chemotherapy drugs containing cisplatin or anthracycline or oxaliplatin or fluorouracil or paclitaxel,with a high risk of neutrality.To observe the difference of the two groups of patients after treatment of nausea and vomiting.Results: 1.Before chemotherapy,no significant difference was found in gender,age,species of disease,tumor staging,KPS score which were kept consistent between observation group and controlled group.Patients of two groups were comparable.2.For acute vomiting,there was no statistical difference observed between observation group and controlled group(93.33% vs.96.66%,p>0.05);For delayed vomiting,treated by chemotherapy after 4 days to 5 days,the efficient was respectively 43.33% ? 50.00% ? 53.33% in observation,which is superior to the efficient which was respectively 60.00% ? 73.33% ? 76.66% in controlled group.There was statisticalsignificance in response rate between observation group and controlled group.3.For vicious vomiting,the efficient was 83.33%,which is superior to the efficient which was 70% in controlled group.There was statistical significance in response rate between observation group and controlled group(P<0.05).4.After treatment,KPS score decreased than it before chemotherapy between two groups(P<0.05);but comparison among groups,KPS score pf observation group was obviously lower than controlled group,there was significant difference among groups(P<0.05),and that is:the health condition of observation group is significantly better than controlled group.5.After treatment,QOL score decreased than it before chemotherapy between two groups(P<0.05);but comparison among groups,QOL score pf observation group was obviously lower than controlled group,there was significant difference among groups(P<0.05),and that is:the health condition of observation group is significantly better than controlled group.Conclusion : Catgut-embedding Therapy of Dispersing Liver-qi and Regulating Stomach combined with anti-nausea medicine for Delayed Vomiting by chemotherapy which is obviously superior to only by anti-nausea medicine therapy,and this way could increase health condition and living quality,and is worth to be widely applied in clinic.
