Objectives : Analyse the distribution of TCM syndromes of diabetic peripheral neuropathy, the correlation between TCM syndromes of DPN and TCSS scoring system, and to better evaluate the condition and prognosis of patients by TCSS,which can provide Theoretical basis for The treatment and prevention of DPN.Methods : Collected 112 cases of diabetic peripheral neuropathy, and collected their age, gender and course of disease, evaluated their syndrom-e of TCM and TCSS.analysis the correlation between TCM syndromes And TCSS and the characteristics about the distribution of TCM syndro-mes.Results:1?In this study, among 112 DPN patients, the syndrome of Qi deficiency and blood stasis is 29.46%;syndrome of Yin deficiency and blood stasis is 19.64%;syndrome of Stagnation of Phlegm and blood stasis is 45.54%;syndrome of Liver-Kidney depletion is 5.36%.2?There are significant difference in TCM syndromes among different gender of DPN patients(P=0.004).Stagnation of Phlegm and blood stasis and Liver-Kidney depletion male multiple,Qi deficiency and blood stasis and Yin deficiency and blood stasis female multiple.3?There are significant difference in TCM syndromes among different age of DPN patients(P=0.002).DPN more common in patients over 40 years of age.Under the age of 50 patients with DPN mainly Qi deficiency and blood stasis and Yin deficiency and blood stasis. With age, the course of disease prolonging, the Stagnation of Phlegm and blood stasis and the Liver-Kidney depletion also showed an increasing trend.4?Four syndromes in the distribution of TCSS:?0-5 points: Qi deficiency and blood stasis is 53.13%,Yin deficiency and blood stasis is31.25%,Stagnation of Phlegm and blood stasis is 15.63%,Liver-Kidney depletion is 0;?6-8 points: Qi deficiency and blood stasis is 32.35%,Yin deficiency and blood stasis is 20.59%,Stagnation of Phlegm and blood stasis is 47.06%,Liver-Kidney depletion is 0;? 9-11 points: Qi deficiency and blood stasis is 11.11%,Yin deficiency and blood stasis is14.81%,Stagnation of Phlegm and blood stasis is 66.67%,Liver-Kidney depletion is 7.41%;(4)12-19 points: Qi deficiency and blood stasis is10.53%,Yin deficiency and blood stasis is 5.26%,Stagnation of Phlegm and blood stasis is 63.16%,Liver-Kidney depletion is 21.05%.5?In This study, the TCSS score with the four syndrome types difference are Statistically significant(P=0.007).The score of the syndro-me of Liver-Kidney depletion is the highest, the syndrome of Qi deficiency and blood stasis is the lowest. There is significant difference between the score of the syndrome of Liver-Kidney depletion and Qi deficiency and blood stasis(P=0.003),also between the score of the syndrome of Yin deficiency and blood stasis and Liver-Kidney depletion(P=0.001).Conclusion:(1)TCM syndromes of DPN mainly Stagnation of Phlegm and blood stasis, followed by Qi deficiency and blood stasis,Yin deficien-cy and blood stasis and Liver-Kidney depletion.(2)Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome and Yin deficiency and blood stasis syndrome are the most common syndromes at early stages of DPN,With age,the course of disease prolonged, the proportion of Stagnation of Phlegm and blood stasis,Liver-Kidney depletion syndrome gradually Increased.(3)There are correlation between TCM Syndrome of DPN with TCSS,which the syndrome of Liver-Kidney depletion highest score, with severe neuropathy, the lowest score of Qi deficiency and blood stasis, and most of them had no obvious neuropathy.(4)In the traditional Chinese medicine “cure disease” guiding ideology,DPN focus on disease prevention, and adhere to the combination of syndrome differentiation, give full play to the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine treatment DPN.
