ObjectiveBased on the theory of syndrome element,to do the preliminary study between Chronic atrophic gastritis and blood stasis syndrome element,to observe the effect of blood stasis on the development of CAG disease,to explore the correlation between them,to provide evidence-based medicine theory guidance to clinical TCM syndrome differentiation treatment, and to shed new light on clinical regression treatment of CAG.Methods92 valid cases of patients were collected, who were diagnosed of chronic atrophic gastritis from January 2016 to January 2017 in the Second People's Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. After all patients informed consents, data were gathered from their "Four Diagnostic" results and syndrome elements information table and sorted out through syndrome elements differentiation software. Those cases were divided into 2 groups,Blood Stasis Group(observation group within which patients are with blood stasis syndrome element)and Non Blood Stasis Group(comparison group within which patients are without blood stasis syndrome element).Through comparing and analyzing the basic information, clinical data, and syndrome elements data of the two groups,we looked into the relation of blood stasis syndrome element with disease course, varicose degree of sublingual veins, gastric mucosa change under endoscope and pathologic histology changes.Results1.No obvious difference was found in gender, age, and pathologic histology change distribution between Blood Stasis Group and Non Blood Stasis Group. While significant difference was found in the course duration of disease and the varicose degree of sublingual veins.2.The frequency sequence from high to low of main CAG syndrome elements on disease location is as follows:Blood Stasis Group:Stomach(19.37%),Liver(15.42%),Spleen(15.42%),Kidney(11.07%),Heart(7.51%),Gallbladder(6.32%),above disease locations account for the majority.Non Blood Stasis Group:Stomach(30.25%),Liver(19.33%),Spleen(11.76%),Kidney(11.76%),Mind(5.88%),and Lung(5.04%),above account for the majority. There is no obvious difference was found in syndrome elements distribution on disease location between the two groups.3.The frequency sequence from high to low of main CAG syndrome elements(without the Blood Stasis syndrome elements)on disease nature is as follows:Blood Stasis Group:Blood stasis(11.06%),Qi stagnation(10.95%),Yang deficiency(10.53%),Qi deficiency(10.32%),Yin deficiency(9.26%),phlegm syndrome(9.05%),damp syndrome(8.84%),blood asthenia(6.53%),heat syndrome(5.68%),dyspepsia(5.05%);Non Blood Stasis Group:Qi stagnation(16.74%),Yang deficiency(13.49%),Qi deficiency(13.49%),Yin deficiency(10.70%),damp syndrome(10.23%),phlegm syndrome(7.91%),blood asthenia(6.51%),dyspepsia(6.05%),Yang hyperactivity(5.12%).There is no obvious difference was found in syndrome elements distribution on disease nature between the two groups.4.The severity of blood stasis is positively correlated with the course duration of disease, the varicose degree of sublingual veins and appearance frequency of intestinal metaplasia.Conclusion:1.CAG's disease locations mainly lie in Stomach,Spleen,Liver and Kidney, and also involve Heart,Gallbladder,Lung, etc.Qi stagnation,Yang deficiency,Qi deficiency are the common disease naftures of CAG,and also include Yin deficiency, damp syndrome, phlegm syndrome and Blood Stasis.2.The appearance of blood stasis and the severity of blood stasis is correlated with the course duration of disease, the varicose degree of sublingual veins and the appearance frequency of intestinal metaplasia. Thus,we should pay attention to blood stasis' effects over the developing of CAG.
