| Literature summary: On the basis of reviewing the understanding of modem medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) to etiology~ pathogenesis, diagnose, treatment of chronic atrophic gastric(CAG) and blood stasis, the paper clarified the rationales, diagnosis and treatment method to blood stasis of CAG.Clinical research: According to tutor抯 experimence, with 45 cases, on which discriminatly and verif~rly using the prescription of removing blood stasis to activate blood flow to cure the patients showing the CAG blood stasis syndrom. The result showed that the prescription抯 effective ratio in the signs of gastroscope, atrophy, intestinal metaplasis and dysplasia were 77.7%, 73.1%, 68.89% and 73.08% respectively. It could also obviously decrease the integrals of atrophy, intestinal metaplasis and dysplasia, improve the clinical symptoms, and ameliorate the picture of gastroscope and the index of blood rheology(P<0.0l ,O.05).Tutor抯 experience on treating CAG by activating blood flow: Thepaper analyzed and summarized the experience of professor Shan Zhaowei in treating CAG by activating blood flow from pathogenesis,diagnose and treanient, which was helpful to clinical treament.
