Research BackgroundAs we all known, cancer has become a serious disease that threat to people's life and health all over the world,in recent years there is an upward trend in the incidence of a 'disease, most patients during treatment with chemical drugs for treatment.Due to the chemotherapy drug stimulating strong and extremely easy leakage, appear easily in the process of application of all kinds of serious complications. And the PICC catheter chemotherapy is currently the most commonly used clinical drug delivery way,but during catheterationthe patients' self-care ability levelwill directly affect the treatment effect, and even directly affect the prognosis of level. Therefore the protection ability of patients with catheteration is the vital problem in the clinical medical workers.Research purposesSurvey the factors that affect cancer patient's self-care ability during PICC catheteration,to provide scientific guidance for clinical nursing and health education, help nursing staff to take corresponding measures, and enhance the level of patients with self-care ability and avoid the complications during catheteration, ensure the smooth progress of treatment, further enhance the patient's clinical therapeutic effect.Materials and MethodsUsed the convenience sampling method, selected 395 cancer patientsin our hospital in January 2016 and June for PICC catheteration as the research object. With the method of field investigation,by issuing questionnaires to the object of study, the questionnaire contains five parts:(1)through the establishment of general information questionnaire survey of patients with gender, age, marital status and so on general demographic information;(2)the self-care ability measurement table(ESCA)survey of cancer patients during the PICC catheter self-care ability;(3)adopting a healthy lifestyle scale(HPLP-II)survey of cancer patients health promoting lifestyle;(4)the social support scale(SSRS)to investigate the social support state of cancer patients;(5)the depression self rating scale(SDS)to investigate the degree of depression patients during catheter to understand the psychological state of patients.Use SPSS21.0 statistical software for data statistics analysis, counting unit and measuring unit, respectively rate(%)andmean±standard deviation(x±s).If P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Main results1.Patients aged between 20-76,the average age was(54.12 ± 5.68),90.65%of the patients is married and live in different city, urban, rural, cultural level, the main caregivers, occupation, income, payment method, the condition of disease and treatment of each are not identical.2.In this study the self-care ability score level of 395 patients was(112.97 ± 12.05),self-care ability),in the medium level,42.03%of the patients at higher levels,55.19%of the patients in the medium level.Including health responsibility which one of the highest score,self-care skill index score the lowest levels, health responsibility>self concept>>the health knowledge, nursing skills.3.The patient's gender, place of residence, culture degree, occupation, income, payment method and PICC catheter indwelling time and complications are the main general data of single factor affecting self-care ability, has a significant difference(P<0.01).And age, working status, the main caregivers, tumor type, brand, the site of insertion catheter, the puncture point location, the number of insertion, puncture time, work will be on during the PICC catheter in patients with self-care ability,,no statistical difference(P>0.05).By 11 multiariable Logistic regression analysis found gender, place of residence, occupation, income, the indwelling time, health promoting lifestyle, social support and depression is affecting cancer patients with PICC catheter during the self-care ability of important factor. Conclusion and suggestionsPatient'sgender, place of residence, occupation, income, the indwelling time, health promoting lifestyle, social support and depressionduringcatheteration can effect the self-care ability of patients with cancer.Nursing staff to social demographic data, illness data in patients with cancer, life style, social support and depression status to conduct a comprehensive analysis, targeted nursing according to the actual situation, personalized care, promote cancer patients during the PICC catheter self-care ability level.
