ObjectiveTo investigate the status and influencing factors of psychological needs of family members of premature infants,and to explore the relationship between coping style and social support.MethodsThis study is a cross-sectional survey,using convenience sampling method in April 2016 to November 2016,selected a NICU hospital in Shandong Province,258 hospitalized children with premature children of family members to conduct a questionnaire survey.The survey includes four parts:basic information questionnaire,Critical Care Family Needs Inventory(CCFNI),simple coping style questionnaire and Social Support Revalued Scale.The data were statistically described by mean,standard deviation,frequency and percentage,and the data were statistically analyzed by t test,Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.Results1.The psychological needs of family members of premature infants were in the middle level.The arrangement order of the family needs of premature infants is:disease guarantee dimension,access dimension,accepted dimension,support dimension,comfort dimension.2.Premature infant in different working conditions was statistically significant difference between the total score on the psychological needs of the families(p<0.05),body weight in preterm infants of different gestational age,birth,different,statistically significant difference between the total score on the psychological needs of the families(p<0.05).3.The positive coping dimension score was(19.41 ± 4.22)and the negative coping dimension was(12.45 ± 3.54),and the total score was(31.86 ± 5.69).4.The scores of subjective support dimension of the premature infants were(20.39± 4.10),and the score of objective support was(11.23 ± 3.42).The score of support utilization was(8.16 ±1.99),and the total score was(39.77 ± 6.48).5.Pearson correlation analysis showed that positive coping was negatively correlated with the acquisition of dimension(p<0.05),negative coping and support dimension,dimension,comfortable condition guarantee negative correlation dimension,psychological demand score(p<0.05),simple coping and support dimension,obtain dimensions,psychological needs were negatively related to total score(p<0.05).6.Using Pearson correlation analysis showed that subjective support and support dimension,dimension,psychological needs comfort scores were negatively correlated(p<0.05),objective support and support dimension,illness was negatively related to guarantee dimension,psychological demand score(p<0.05),the availability of support and support dimension,acceptance dimension,psychological demand is negative related(p<0.05),social support,comfort and support dimension,dimension,dimension,accepted psychological demand negatively correlated with total score(p<0.05).7.Multiple hierarchical regression analysis showed that gestational age,body weight,birth,negative coping,subjective support and utilization are the influence factors of the psychological needs of premature infant,premature infant psychological needs can explain 34.0%of the total variance.The smaller the body weight and gestational age were,the higher the psychological needs of the family members were;Premature delivery of cesarean section,the psychological needs of their families score high;The negative response to the psychological needs of the family members of premature children was low,the more subjective support,the better the use of support,the lower the psychological needs of the family members of the premature children.Conclusions1.The psychological needs of family members of premature infants were in the middle level.The family needs of premature infants in the first place is to ensure the dimension of disease.2.The family members of premature infants engaged in different jobs,premature infants of different gestational age,different weight,different birth patterns,leading to different family members' psychological needs.3.The higher the psychological needs of the family members,the less negative coping styles.The higher the level of social support,the lower the psychological needs of family members of premature infants.4.Gestational age,body weight,birth,negative coping,subjective support and utilization were the influencing factors of the psychological needs of the family members of premature infants.
