In recent years,the global economic integration is developing rapidly so there are more international exchanges than ever before.In this situation,English has played a more significant role in different fields than ever before.So,all kinds of foreign English certificates become more and more popular in China;one of them is IELTS which has become widely accepted in worldwide.On the one hand,there is an increasing number of people who further their study or work in foreign countries.On the other hand,the English certificates of foreign country are more accepted by domestic employers.The international nursing program was set up in 1980 s.There are many graduates of this major going abroad to further their study and work.The perspective of this major is very bright.However,most of students in vocational school lack the basic knowledge of English;in addition,the teaching of IELTS and the basic teaching of English cannot be combined effectively.So to some extend,the score of IELTS will be the restriction on the further development of students.Among these four sections of IELTS,most of students are not good at the writing section.So,the research of IELTS writing teaching for international nursing program in secondary vocational school should be paid attention to.In this thesis,the writer will combine the practical situations of teaching to prove the practical use of Process Writing in IELTS writing and the classes of IELTS in Heilongjiang Linye Health Professional School will be taken as an example.The thesis is based on the theory of Process Writing to find the theory evidence for practical use of Process Writing in the teaching of IELTS writing when the current situation of the domestic and overseas research of Process Writing and the teaching of IELTS writing are summarized and analyzed.In this thesis,the current situation and problems of IELTS writing teaching are analyzed according to the aspects of studnets' learning and teachers' teaching.What is more,the Process Writing Approach should be put into practical use to solve the problems of students' learning and teachers' teaching,which will both promote students' score and the ability of writing and enrich the teaching methods.During the whole process of implementation,questionnaires are designed for students and the results of questionnaires are analyzed carefully.In the experiment stage,the characters of students are taken into consideration in order to establish the pattern of Process Writing in the teaching of IELTS writing.According to the requirements of different stages in Process Writing Approach,both students and teachers should complete the tasks so as to check the effects and feasibility of Process Writing Approach in teaching.The results of questionnaires and experiments display that there are positive effects on students' learning of IELTS writing and they become more confident and positive to take part in and complete the writing tasks.Furthermore,teachers know the students writing process more exactly than before.In this research,it aims to make tentative study on the application of the Process Writing Approach in the teaching of secondary vocational school.However,there need to be more researches to realize and perfect the improvement of student's IELTS writing ability.In addition,the teachers should be encouraged to put the Process Writing approach into the teaching of IELTS writing in vocational school in order to prove the feasibility and enrich the teaching methods.
