A Survey Of Related Factors Of Stroke Of Nurses In Neurology Department

Purpose1. To evaluate knowledge , attitude and behavior of stroke in nurses working in neurology department.2. To Analyze related factors of the impact of knowledge , attitude and behavior of stroke in nurses working in neurology department.3. To Provide a reference of theoretical basis for stroke nursing continuing education.4. To Provide a reference for nursing managers develop policies.Methods1. Self-made questionn: On the basis of literature review, data analysis, and consultation of nursing experts, to prepare stroke knowledge, attitude and behavior questionnaire of nurses in neurology department. After questionnaire pretest, item analysis was used to evaluate every item's diagnostic degree, the items beyond requirement were eliminated. using Cronbach's alpha coefficient to evaluate internal consistency reliability of questionnaire.2. Sampling method: The questionnaire survey was taking by convenient cluster sampling method in the four three A level hospitals from June 2015 to October 2015 in Chang Chun. There were 260 nurses were investigated.3. Statistical analysis: Using SPSS19.0 statistical software for statistical analysis. The mean + / - standard deviation describes knowledge, attitude and behavior score of stroke; To analyze differences between gender, working years, job position, cultural degree, family history of stroke disease, nature of employment, training, and working as a different role of nurse in neurology department of knowledge, attitude and behavior of stroke by T test and variance analysis; Using multiple linear stepwise regression analysis to screen the related factors influencing the scroes of knowledge , attitude and behavior of stroke of nurses in neurology department.Results1. The surveyed 260 nurses in neurology department, the standardized score of knowledge was (63.88±15.17), belong to the middle and lower levels. The two dimensions of knowledge including management of the risk factors and early rehabilitation exercise of stroke which standardized score was (59.73±19.28),(41.07±13.25) respectively. The attitude of the prevention and early functional exercise was at a higher level which standardized score was (88.22±14.14). Stroke prevention health education and early rehabilitation exercise behavior level is at a middle level which standardized score (72.49±17.70).2.The main factors that influence stroke knowledge level of stroke were the title, number of species in working roles, gender, family history of stroke disease, nursing role, stroke trained and attitude towards stroke. The main factors that influence stroke attitude were knowledge and behavior of cerebral apoplexy and whether go further. The main factors that influence stroke behavior were attitude of stroke and whether taking stroke conference.3. In demand of learning side, the top three learning styles of the list were: lectures,professional books and clinical studies. The top three learning content were: prevention knowledge of stroke, stroke rehabilitation knowledge and skills of ICU of stroke.ConclusionStroke knowledge of nurses in neurology department belongs to the middle and lower levels, including the management of the risk factors and early rehabilitation exercise of stroke lack knowledge. Stroke attitude was at a higher level, behavior scores was at a middle level.Knowledge level of stroke remains to be further improved, which can take the lectures and conferences of stroke and other ways to raise the level of knowledge. Stroke prevention health education and early rehabilitation exercise behavior needs to be strengthened.Different cognition of roles in working results to knowledge and practice level, More roles in working , the stroke knowledge and behavior level are better.
