With increasing internationalization, China has experienced rapid development over the past 30 years. Previous export-oriented economic mode utilizing demographic dividend and the advantage of labor cost is gradually undergoing changes after entering the new century. First of all, the economy pattern has transformed from export to the internal consumption. Secondly, the rapid growth of labor cost leads to the unavailability of original advantage, and some factories have moved to regions with lower labor cost. Thirdly, the quality demand of domestic consumers for products and services gradually strengthens. These factors lead many managers in the domestic enterprises, service industry and medical industry to begin to think about how to adapt to the new environment, and how to change from previous extensive management to lean management.Although the concept of lean thinking comes from the production enterprises, because the experts and scholars from various industries participate in the research and practice of lean, lean has extended to various industries, including manufacturing, design, service, medical and others. With a large population, China is facing the problems of ageing of population and the shortage of medical resources. These have led to the relatively poor medical experience of ordinary patients, and led patients in hospitals to consume a lot of time in a variety of queuing. These problems have attracted the attention of managers of many medical industries, and many hospitals have begun to study how to build a lean hospital.In view of the above problems, this thesis chooses the most important medical department, clinical laboratories, as the breakthrough point, practices lean healthcare, and solves how to speed up the whole diagnosis process for the patients in the treatment process. Through the lean evaluation of the clinical laboratories in M hospital, the lean suggestion scheme is given, and the implementation effect is evaluated again after the implementation of the plan. This lean healthcare practice process has reference significance for clinical laboratories of the whole hospital system, and for the promotion of lean healthcare of hospitals as a whole it also plays a positive role.
