Since the beginning of 21 st century, the disease sPectrum of domestic community residents has witnessed significant change that the chronic non-communicable diseases' incidence and Prevalence rise significantly. They have gradually rePlaced acute illness as the main illness tyPe.The risk factors varies,in which environmental Pollution and occuPational exPosure may Promote the incidence of chronic diseases. Therefore, the health status of community residents and the influencing factors should be studied without delay.ObjectivesTo understand the basic health status of residents in Yuzhong District and influencing factors involved through the survey of health-related issues in Dahuang Road Community of Yuzhong District, and Provide scientific evidence for Prevention and intervention strategies.Materials and methodsIn accordance with the PrinciPle of random samPling, not less than 10,000 usual residents were selected.ResPondents were PeoPle who were living in the community for longer than six months as usual residents.Health status was assessed by the unified Printed health questionnaires Provided by Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, which includes the "Family Living Environment Survey(A Volume)" "Residents Personal Health Questionnaire(B Volume)" and "Community Disease and SymPtoms Questionnaire(C volume)".EPiData was used for encoding the original questionnaire inPutted twice, using double entry comParison to correct the errors during outPut comParison. Then the results were rePorted.SPSS21.0 was used for data analysis.Chi-square test was used for the comParison of PoPulation Prevalence, and Fisher's exact test was used while chi-square test did not meet the conditions.Logistic regression was used for multiPle factor analysis.Results1.Health condition(1)Among 1004 usual residents, the total number of Patients was 224 for the recent year, and the Prevalence was 22.4%.The last two weeks' total number of Patients was 181 and the Prevalence was 18.1%,of which the Prevalence of hyPertension was the highest(7.3%),and the Prevalence of resPiratory system diseases was the second(4.9%).(2)For two-week Prevalence rate statistics, the male Prevalence rate was 19.3%,and the female's was 17.0%,indicating that male rate was slightly higher than the female's,but there was no significantly statistical difference(2? = 0.851,P> 0.05).Different ages witnessed different Prevalence rates, which increased with the increase of age: PeoPle aged 0-14 years had the lowest Prevalence and those aged 65~ had the highest Prevalence. The age difference was statistically significant(2? = 98.222,P <0.001).(3)Two-week Prevalence rate varied in residents of different occuPations,in which retirees exPerienced the highest Prevalence of 41.0%(P <0.001).(4)There was no significantly statistical difference for two weeks Prevalence of residents with different education levels(2? = 6.093,P = 0.297> 0.05).(5)Prevalence of chronic diseases was 22.4%.In six diseases of toP Prevalence, the highest Prevalence was for hyPertension,10.3%,followed by other cardiovascular diseases, coronary heart disease, asthma, chronic obstructive Pulmonary disease and stroke, with the Prevalence of 3.1%,2.6%,0.9%,0.1% and 0.1% accordingly. With the increase of age,the Prevalence rate of hyPertension rose(2? = 99.620,P <0.001).The Prevalence rates of coronary heart disease and other cardiovascular diseases were significantly different in PeoPle of different ages(P <0.001),while there was no significant age-related difference for asthma, chronic obstructive Pulmonary disease and the stroke(P> 0.05).2.Univariate analyses:(1)Residents who had Purchased furniture(24.46%)in a year had higher two-week Prevalence than those hadn't(17.11%)(P=0.037).Two-week Prevalence of residents who hadn't used air Pollution-related chemicals(22.60%)was higher than those had(14.66%)(P=0.001).Per caPita living sPace of illness grouP was 19.06m2,while for normal grouP it was was(31.5±19.0)m2,and the living sPaces of the two grouPs had significant difference(P=0.001).(2)Residents who had used air Pollution-related chemicals(25.80%)in a year had higher Prevalence than those hadn't(19.79%)(P=0.024).Per caPita living s Pace of illness grouP was(34.75±18.58)m2,while for normal grouP it was(31.4±19.33)m3,and the living sPaces of the two grouPs had significantly difference(P=0.001).(3)The difference of drinking frequency might be a influence factor of two-week Prevalence(P=0.000).Whether life regulation, dinking frequency and exercise time did not show any significant difference(P>0.05).(4)The difference of drinking frequency and exercise time might be the influence factors for chronic disease Prevalence(P=0.000).Whether regular life and smoking frequency showed no significantly relationshiP to the Prevalence of chronic diseases(P>0.05).(5)Whether touching harmful factors, dust factors, radioactive materials, noises and high temPerature showed no significant difference between illness and normal grouPs(P>0.05).3.MultiPle factor analysis:(1)According to the results of multiPle factor stePwise logistic regression, age might be a influence factor of two-week Prevalence.Older aged grouP was more suscePtible than youth grouP(P < 0.0001,OR=9.690,95%CI(4.619,20.328)),while there was no significant difference between middle aged grouP and youth grouP(P>0.05).(2)Age might be a influence factor of chronic disease Prevalence: the older aged grouP was more suscePtible than youth grouP(P<0.0001,OR15.118,95%CI(6.715,34.037)).In addition, using air Pollution-related chemicals was a risk factors for chronic disease Prevalence(P=0.0039,OR =1.628,95%CI(1.169,2.267)),and the Prevalence rate rose with the increased Per caPita living sPace(P=0.0094,OR =1.012,95%CI(1.003,1.021).Conclusions1.Two-week Prevalence rate of the community was 18.1% and at lower level.2.Two-week Prevalence rate of men was slightly higher than that of women.3.Two-week Prevalence rate of >=65-year-old grouP was significantly higher than that of the other age grouPs.4.The health status increased with the raised education level. The residents of bachelor degree and above were at the best health status.5.The residents' two-week Prevalence of resPiratory disease was high.6.In the chronic disease Prevalence of residents,hyPertension was at the toP Place.7.Residents' health was influenced by multiPle factors, mainly includes age, furniture Purchase in a year, air Pollution related-chemicals and Per caPita living sPace.8.In inside-door air Pollution, furniture was one of the three major sources of Pollution.9.ExcePt Pollution by furniture, using of chemicals like insecticide ect.was another major source of inside-door Pollution.10.The larger Per caPita living sPace increased the suscePtibility of residents to diseases.
