Stduy On The Status Of Mental Health Service Supply And Its Influence Factors Of Jiulongpo District Of Chongqing

Research ObjectiveThe global mental health problems are becoming increasingly acute with the development of economy and intensifying competition. As experimental area of network-based health service management for psychopaths in Chongqing, Jiulongpo District is quite experienced in the process of severe mental illness management. However, there are still some problems in mental health service supply. Based on public product theory,external effects theory, social support network theory, social justice theory and health&human rights theory, and regarding the mental health supply status of mental health service institutions in Jiulongpo District as support,this study analyzed problems and influence factors during the process of mental health service supply, and explored strategies of promoting the development of mental health service supply on this basis.Research MethodRelated research papers, newspapers, policy reports, public documents and books at home and abroad were collected through Wanfang Database,VIP database and National Knowledge Infrastructure; and then some analysis, rearrangements and generalizations were made on the basis of extensive reading; finally related theories, assessment criteria and successful experience about mental health service supply were summarized.On the basis of reading literature extensively, theoretical research experts in the field of mental health, policy makers, management experts and experts in mental health service supply were chosen properly to demonstrate project design, questionnaire making and policy suggestion in late period.Considering the experimental area of network-based health service management for psychopaths--- Jiulongpo District as survey field,qualitative and quantitative surveys on supply status of mental health services were made in this area.Research ResultRelated theories of mental health service supply. Concepts of mental health and mental health service were reviewed from the perspective of economics, mental hygienics and sociology; government’s role in mental health service supply was clearly defined under public product theory,external effects theory, social justice theory, health&human rights theory and social support network theory. Empirical research on mental health service supply of Jiulongpo District in Chongqing. Through empirical research, organized achievements and problems in the process of mental health service supply of this area and analyzed related influence factors.Policy suggestions on improving the level of mental health service supply.Policy suggestions on improving supply status of mental health services were proposed with theoretical research and empirical investigation.Research ConclusionThe total number of mental health staffs almost reach the standard, but its structure is unreasonable. The overall quality of mental health staffs need improvements and stuff structure is unstable. The infrastructure is rotting, and professional equipment is insufficient. The management of severe mental patients is difficult with high lost rate and poor compliance.Public management linkage mechanism is absent in mental health services.
