The Clinical Observation And Evaluation On Nodular Prurigo Treated By Fire Needle

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of the fire needle treatment of nodular prurigo,and desire to find out the way of the exact effective treatment to shorten the course, reduce the relapse rate and secure repeatable.Methods:By using RCT to divided 68 cases randomly into the treatment group and the control group, The treatment group was treated by fire needle method, selection of points of local, wind heat toxin syndrome plus Quchi, Yinlingquan, blood stasis and wind dryness syndrome plus Xuhai, Zusanli. Treatment once a week.The control group choose Betamethasone cream outside in skin lesions, diminishing the use of hormone therapy, Once a day in the first week, two days once in the second week, three days once in the third week, the fourth week withdrawal. Finally completed a total of 63cases.The two groups were treating for 4 weeks and follow-up of 3 months after treatment. By observing the change of the number of nodular prurigo rash subsided rate, pruritus score and time,quality of life scores,Chinese symptom score,before and after,to determine the effect.The above results were analyzed using SPSS 19.0.Results:1.There were significant differences before the comprehensive treatment efficacy scores after treatment(P<0.05);.2.Treated patients relieve itching start time, itching duration shorter than the control group, two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05);3.The two group have no significant difference in nodular prurigo rash subsided rate, pruritus score at first week(P>0.05), There were significant differences at the second, third, fourth week, that treatment group was more efficiency(P<0.05);4.At the end of treatment groups 1,2,3 months follow-up, the recurrence rate of the treatment group than the control group, two groups were significantly different (P<0.05);5.Treated patients quality of life ratings and Chinese symptom score superior to the control group, two groups were significantly different(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both Fire needle and Betamethasone treatment of nodular prurigo can effectively make better of the severity of skin lesions, pruritus score and quality of patients'life;2.Fire needle therapy relieve itching onset time and duration was shorter than Halometasone Cream.3.Fire needle and Betamethasone treatment of nodular prurigo were have the same good effect in one week;in the second to four weeks to improve and relieve itching skin lesions severity was significantly better than Halometasone Cream;4.The fire needle method have better clinical efficacy in the way of improve the quality of patients' life,reduce the recurrence rate and Chinese symptom score;5.The Fire needle treatment of nodular prurigo has so many advantages, such as have immediate and forward efficacy, fewer side effects, safety, and so on, therefore, this method is proper for the clinical application and further development.
