Through retrospectively analyzing and evaluating the data from creatinine External Quality Assessment(EQA)in Chongqing,investigating the current creatinine EQA status in every provinces of China,and analyzing the relationship between creatinine(lyophilized serum)EQA program and the reference system,as well as investigating the impact of grouping approach on the assigned values,the study will provide the basis for optimization of the EQA,and increased the effect of EQA on improving the laboratory creatinine analyzing ability,eventually make EQA play more crucial roles in diagnosis and treatment for kidney disease.In this study,t in the retrospective analysis of creatinine EQA in Chongqing,the numbers of participating laboratories,the Coefficient of Variations(CV),the percentages of passing rate were investigated.The statistical values and the uncertainties with different methods,reagents and instruments in every province in China(the first creatinine EQA in 2015)were analyzed.The relationship between assigned value with different grouping approaches and the reference values was evaluated by the way of the investigation with fresh serum pool.The importance of EQA program attracted more attention by the participant,and the number of participating laboratories increased.The EQA program may function as monitoring performance of IVD producers and the laboratories.Each province may select the appropriate statistical approaches according to the characteristic.In the creatinine EQA program in Chongqing,it was more reasonable to group according to method,and the robust statistics is available in large-sized groups,otherwise the“Dixon critical value” method is suitable for small-sized groups.Research shows that in the creatinine EQA program in Chongqing,it was more reasonable to group according to method,and the robust statistics is available in large-sized groups,otherwise the “Dixon critical value” method is suitable for small-sized groups.
