| Objective To analyze the constituent ratio changes of lung cancer and part of the epidemiological characteristics. Methods Collecting the clinical data of patients who have been diagnosed with lung cancer by histopathology or cytology in the hospital of Ningxia medical university from the January of 2000 to December of 2014. Analyzing the constituent ratio changes of central lung cancer(CLC) and peripheral lung cancer(PLC),changes of different pathological types and changes of gender, age, smoking status, nationality and so on.Results From 2000 to 2014, there were 3608 cases of lung cancer have been diagnosed, including 2081 CLCs(57.68%)and 1527 PLCs(42.32%).The proportion of CLCs had decreased gradually(P=0.000) but PLCs had presented a rising tendency(P=0.000).There were 2879(79.79%)cases of Non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC), including 1328(46.13%)cases of squamous cell carcinomas(SCC) and 1511(52.48%) cases of adenocarcinoma(AD).The proportion of NSCLC had no statistical significance(P=0.457),but SCC in NSCLC had decreased from 61.12% to 38.90%(P=0.000).AD had increased from 36.82% to 60.10%(P=0.000).The 637(17.66%) cases of small cell lung cancer(SCLC), which proportions had no statistical significance(P=0.194). In CLC there were 1039(49.93%) cases of SCC, 483(23.21%) cases of AD and 493(23.69%) cases of SCLC. In CLC the proportions of SCC had decreased from 63.57% to 42.44%(P=0.000).AD had increased from 14.29%to 28.36%(P=0.000).SCLC had increased from 17.38% to 26.38%(P=0.002). In PLC the proportions of SCC had decreased from 25.32% to 16.89%(P=0.014).AD had increased from 57.81% to 70.52%(P=0.001).SCLC had no statistical significance(P=0.327).There were 2519(69.82%) male cases and 1089(30.18%) female cases. The ratio of male to female was 2.31:1.00. The proportions of male patients had decreased from 75.80% to 67.18%(P=0.000) but the proportions of female patients had increased from 24.20% to 32.82%(P=0.000). SCC was more common in men but AD was more common in women. In male and female patients, SCC had a downward trend and AD was on the rise and SCLC had no obvious change. The onset age of SCC and SCLC had showed a trend of increase(P=0.002,P=0.000),but had no statistical significance(P=0.448). SCC,AD and SCLC were more common in elderly people. The constituent ratio of smoking in AD had a downward trend(P=0.042), but SCC and SCLC had no statistical significance(P=0.679, P =0.415).There were 3608 cases of lung cancer, including 443(12.28%)cases of the Hui nationality and 3136(86.92%)cases of the Han nationality. The proportions of the Hui nationality had increased(P=0.000) but the Han nationality had decreased(P=0.000). The proportion of SCLC was more common in Hui nationality, but SCC and AD was more common in Han nationality(P=0.000,P=0.000).The onset age of the Hui nationality had no statistical significance(P=0.957), but the Han nationality showed a trend of increase(P=0.000).The Hui nationality was given priority to with non-smokers but the Han nationality was given priority to with smokers(P=0.000). The Hui nationality and the Han nationality in lung cancer are in the majority with male patients. The proportions of male and female patients had no statistical significance in the Hui nationality(P=0.110,P=0.110).In the Han nationality the proportions of male patients had decreased(P=0.000) but female patients had increased(P=0.000). Conclusion The proportion of CLC had decreased gradually, while PLC had presented a rising tendency. In CLC the SCC had decreased gradually but the AD and SCLC increased obviously. In PLC, SCC had decreased gradually and AD had increased obviously, while SCLC had no change. In NSCLC SCC had a downward trend but AD had a rising tendency. Male patients had decreased but female patients had increased gradually. There was no younger tendency in all types of lung cancer. Constituent ratio of smoking numbers in SCC and SCLC had no changes and decreased in AD. The proportion of SCLC was more common in the Hui nationality, but SCC and AD was more common in the Han nationality. The onset age of the Hui nationality is smaller than the Han nationality. The constitute ratio of smoking in the Hui nationality significantly less than the Han nationality. |
