Objectives To investigate the influencing factors of elderly depression in general hospital, To observe the distribution of TCM syndrome types. Explore the main related factors, For better prevention and improving the treatment effect.Methods Collected the elderly depression patients from geriatric clinic and ward,Coal general hospital in 20 months. This research adopts the methods of investigation and study,200 cases of elderly patients with depression were screened out, by using HAMD scale,CCMD-3 depression diagnostic criteria, TCM depression diagnostic criteria. These general hospital depression patients need to fill in the elderly depression symptoms, syndrome observation table. Observation and analysis of emotion, gender, widowed, living alone,character, education, course, Laojuan, HAMD score, duration and other factors. Observe the correlation during the relevant influencing factors. Acquisition of main symptoms,tongue and pulse, syndrome information, to understand the distribution of elderly depression syndromes.Results 1 200 complete and valid questionnaires were recovered. The results of the survey are as follows: Living conditions, emotional factors, overstrain have significant difference with gender( P<0.05);Education, personality, TG levels were significantly different with age(P<0.05);Whether to participate in activities have significant statistical difference with qualifications(P<0.05);Education, smoking and alcohol consumption have significant difference with personal income(P<0.05);Groups, living conditions and personality have significant difference with the health status of the spouse(P<0.05);Gender, health status have significant difference with living conditions(P<0.05);Gender, extracurricular activities, personality have significant difference with emotional factors(P<0.05);Emotion, occupation, spouse health, alcohol addiction have significant difference with personality(P<0.05);Tobacco and alcohol addiction, spouse health, emotional factors have significant difference with the level of HCY(P<0.05);Education, personal income, leisure activities have significant statistical difference with HAMD scores(P<0.05);Marriage and occupation have significant statistical difference(P<0.05);There is a significant correlation between fatigue and disease duration(P<0.05).2 Main TCM syndrome type distribution: Syndrome of stagnation of liver qi 43%; damp heat stasis syndrome29.5%; syndrome of deficiency of both qi and blood 23.5%; Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome 3.5%; heart renal don't pay card 2%. 3 Major chronic diseases: High blood pressure 77.5%, chronic gastritis69%,coronary heart disease 58.5%, bone and joint disease 60%,cerebral vascular disease52%, tumor 52%,diabetes 35%; 4 Physical symptoms: insomnia 98%, forgetfulness 92%,dizziness 81%, constipation 56%, joint pain 52%, hearing loss 52%, lumbocrural pain 50%,fatigue 49%, mental depression 48%, frequent micturition 47%, acid reflux 44%, shortness of breath 42%, anorexia 41%, upset 39.2%.Conclusions 1 The related risk factors of senile depression in general hospital are complex. Emotional factors, personality, widowed as a major risk factor for the incidence of geriatric depression. Alone, sexuality, overstrain, tobacco and alcohol addiction and no leisure activities are the secondary risk factors. 2 The distribution of clinical syndrome types is as follows: Liver qi stagnation syndrome 43%, damp heat and blood stasis syndrome 29.5%, deficiency of Qi and blood 23.5%. Especially liver qi stagnation syndrome is the main syndrome type.
