Etiology And Clinical Characteristics Of Recurrent Acute Pancreatitis

Objective To investigate the etiology and clinical features of recurrent acute pancreatitis.Methods AP patients in 887 cases, of which recurrent AP(RAP) 124 cases, 763 cases of single AP, using a computer random sampling method to select 247 cases of single control group, the two groups of patients with clinical data analysis.Results RAP124 example, 40 cases of biliary, hyperlipidemia 33 cases, 12 cases with alcoholic, overeating in 19 cases,22 cases of idiopathic,9 cases of other risk factors.Single group of 247 cases, 101 cases of biliary, hyperlipidemia 33 cases, 39 cases of alcohol, overeating in 19 cases, idiopathic 39 cases, other 16 cases.The constituent ratios of the etiology between the two groups was statistically significant(?2 = 15.137,P<0.05).Men and women the cause of RAP patients constitute a statistically significant(?2 =4.436,P<0.05),and the male proportion of alcoholic RAP was significantly higher than that of female(P < 0.05).Logistic stepwise regression analysis shows that only hyperlipidemia repeated recurrence have impact on the AP.Single group of male 142, female 105 cases.Recurrent groups male 78, female 46.There was no significant difference in sex ratio between the two groups(?2=1.536, P>0.05).Recurrence of average age less than single group(t=3.792,P <0.05). Recurrence of RAP number 1 ~ 10 times, an average of 1.84 times, recurrence interval within 2 years.Compared with the single group, the level of triacylglycerol was increased, the length of hospital stay in the recurrence group was prolonged, the incidence of complications was increased, the difference was significant(t=3.923?4.842,?2=17.74,P<0.05).Conclusion(1)Acute recurrent pancreatitis is more common in middle-aged men.(2)Biliary and hyperlipidemia is the common cause,hyperlipidemia have important impact on the repeated recurrence AP.(3)Alcoholic acute recurrent pancreatitis is given priority to with men.
