Research On The Developmental Status Of Private Capital Hospitals In Fujian In Perspective Of “Three Circle Theory”

Objective: In recent years, the government has issued a series of policies to support the private capital hospitals. The real situation of the private capital hospitals shows different developmental characteristics as the environment changes. In this context, our research is aimed to discuss the importance of this stage of the running of hospitals of promoting social capital development, and to analyze the developments and changes of the private capital hospitals in Fujian Province from 2010 to 2014. Also, we want to know the real situation of the implementation of the policy and collect the comments of the medical workers and the patients for the private capital hospitals. Finally, we will use “Three-Circle Theory” and discuss the potential problems of “The Value”, “The Capability” and “The Support”, in order to determine the development focus in the future and put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.Methods: Our research is based on the 2010-2014 annual statistical data of the Planning and Information Division of Fujian Provincial Healthy and Family Planning Commission, and use the method of describe statistics to calculate and analyze the changes of the private capital hospitals during the past 5 years. Questionnaires was used to find out the situation of the implementation and interview methods was used to understand hospital managers' comments for the policy, the future development direction, the problems needed to be solved, etc. We collected the satisfaction of the medical workers to their work and patients to the hospitals through questionnaires. And used one-way anova and multiple linear stepwise regression method to analyze the factors which attribute to their satisfaction.Result:(1) Under the background of medical reform, the development of private capital hospital has its own important value and significance, but the value of “specialized, precise, outstanding” was not fully apparent.(2) The structure of the private capital hospital was unreasonable; there are huge space for medical service capacity and operational efficiency; a shortage of physicians is highlighted; the supporting policies improve slowly and some of the policies have a poor effect.(3) Unable to satisfy the medical workers' higher level needs in Maslow's hierarchy of needs; the mass were highly satisfied by private capital hospital services, while expecting the private capital hospital to improve their comprehensive strength.Conclusion:(1)Intensify the value awareness of development of the private capital hospitals; Establish number of high quality hospitals.(2)Adjust the interior development structure as soon as possible; keep improving the efficiency of the hospitals; Explore the mechanism which can stimulate talents in various ways; Set up the special funds for the private capital hospitals' development. Strengthen the trade organization and make it play a better role. Reinforce the management normalization and bring forth new ideas to the evaluating mechanism.(3)Carry out the evaluation of satisfaction about the private capital hospitals among the province; Increase the classical publicity of the private capital hospital and create a better public voice atmosphere.
