The genus Veratrum(Liliaceae.) is traditional Chinese medicine,Rhizome part or the whole herb are used as medicine. It is usually picked in May and June, Veratrum grandiflorum is mainly distributed in Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Taiwan, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, and Yunnan province. Although the chemical constituents of Veratrum nigrum L. have been frequently reported, the related researches on Veratrum grandiflorum are less studied. The Et OH extract was purified by repeated silica gel, sephadex LH-20, MCI, ODS, and semi-preparative HPLC to afford 28 compounds. Among them, 26 structures were identified by various spectroscopic methods, including IR, 1D NMR, 2D NMR and HR-ESI-MS. Their structures were identified as(3S,8R,9S,10 R,13S,14 S, 16 R,17S,20 R,22S,25 S,28S)N-ethyl-16,28-secosolanidine-5-ene-3-hydroxy,16,28-epo xy,17,28-epoxy,(3?)(1),alkamine(2),veramiline(3),veralkamine(4),15-O-(2-methy lbutyroyl)-germine(5),shinonomenine(6),veraflorizine(7),veratramine(8),dihyroveratr am-3-one(9),3-acetyl-veratramine(10), cyclopamine(11), veratrobasine(12), Jervine(13),jerv-5,11-diene-3?,13?-diol(14),isorubijervine(15),epirubijervine(16),solanidine(17), neoechinulin A(18), acortatarins A(19), heneicosylic acid(20), monostearin(21), palmitic acid(22), pinoresinol(23), ?-sitosterol(24), yamogenin(25), ?-daucosterol(26).A new alkaloidwas derived from this plant, which had a original bridge ring named 7,8-2-oxa-2-azabicyclo[3.2.1]octane. Compound 18 and 19 were firstly derived from Liliaceae plants. Compound 2,3,4,5,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,23 and 25 were firstly obtained from this plant. |
